Appearance is dark red with small, pink head. Sweet aroma with hints of (real) raspberry. Really smells like great raspberry juice. Taste is also quite sweet but also sour like a lambic should be. Palate is medium bodied with some carbonation. Really nice framboise, really tastes and smells like raspberries.

On bottle from Gulating Sandefjord. Deep red color, some foam. Medium/ high aroma intensity; raspberry. Medium body & complexity. On the sweet side- some sourness. Enjoyable ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

375ml bottle [as Framboise Foudroyante]. Clear, darkest ruby red colour with average, thick, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, pink head. Intense raspberry aroma with minimally artificial touch, hints of jelly and yoghurt, earthy undertones. Taste is moderately sourish, above-average sweet, fruity counterpart, intense notes of raspberry with sherbet touch, fruit acidic tartness; chewy, slightly sticky palate.

Not surprisingly, both smells and tastes this lambic of raspberries. It has little foaming, and it is probably not uncommon for the type. The taste is full-bodied and the aftertaste comfortable renewable. A sufficiently acidic aftertaste lifts it from being a simple raspberry juice to a light delicate aperitif.

Tart raspberry and lots of carbonation. Leaves a sticky syruppy layer in your mouth. Too much citrus berry thickness for me. Very refreshing and immediately good, but the remaining fruit glue just makes me want to was my mouth out.

F: thin pink coloured. C: dark red non-transparent A: lambic, raspberry, grassy. T: sweet/sour raspberries, jam like sweet, very fruity, but also to sour for me, medium body, lower carbonation, this is not my style of lambic.
