Deep purplish, maroon pour. Looks strikingly similar to Welch’s grape juice with a thin pinkish head. Fresh squeezed raspberry nose. Lively zing. Raspberry flavor is semi-sweet and super tart that finishes dry. Great lambic.

250ml bottle from Carrefour, Xiamen. Pours hazy deep ruby red with a dissipating head. Wonderful raspberry fruit aroma.Refreshing sourness in the finish. Nice.

Just like the rest of the beers I’ve had from Lindeman’s this beer is in your face and pretty good. Pours a dark ruby/purple color with a light purple/magenta head. Smells and tastes of raspberries, raspberries, raspberries and some funky earthy/basement stuff. Sweet and cloying with a body on the lighter side. Overall I can’t drink more than a small glass of this but it is tasty.

750 ml bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 4/7/2014. Pours slightly hazy dark ruby red color with a 2 finger dense dark pink head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with some moderate streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of big tart and sweet raspberry, raspberry skin, candi sugar, hay, grass, light pepper, light oak/funk, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with big authentic raspberry fruit presence, candi sugar sweetness, and light earthy yeast notes; with great strength. Taste of big sweet and tart raspberry, raspberry skin, candi sugar, hay, grass, light pepper, light oak/funk, and yeast earthiness. Good amount of fruity/earthy tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of tart/sweet raspberries, raspberry skin, candi sugar, hay, grass, light pepper, light oak/funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Damn nice robustness and balance of big authentic raspberry fruit presence, candi sugar sweetness, and light earthy yeast flavors; with a great sweetness/tartness balance and zero cloying sweetness after the finish. Medium-high carbonation and body; with a very smooth, fairly crisp, and lightly syrupy/acidic mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 2.5%. Overall this is an excellent sweetened fruit lambic style. All around great robustness and balance of authentic raspberries, candi sugar, and light earthy yeast flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable and flavorful sessionable offering.

On tap at Ashley's in Westland. The pour is a brilliant ruby color works nice foamy pink head that falls down to a film and thick collar. The aroma is very heavy on raspberry. There is a little bit of a sweet funk that rolls through on the back end but the fruity sweetness is really good. It's got a wonderful jam quality. The flavor is very similar. It's like really thin fruity jam. I love it! The mouth feel is a bit light, and there isn't as much of a carbonation as I'd like, but it's pretty good. A little syrupy. The aftertaste is beautifully fruity and wonderful. It's a little dry, but it's really good. I'm a fan ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at home split with Sarah as Foudroyante Framboise. Aroma is nice fresh strawberry fruit, sharp strawberry yoghurt and a little sweetness on the nose as well. Clear deep reddy purple coloured pour with a lastong loose bright pink head. Flavour is sugary sweet, really fresh strawberry, sharp clean acid, a little spicy finish and fruit pips. Palate is syrupy sweet, moderate carbonation and clean tangy acidic finish. Nice fruit bouquet with strawberry, cherry and raspberry. Tasty stuff. Yes it’s sweet but the acid freshens it up really well.
