A clean natural tasting brew with undertones of fresh raspberries and a wonderful aroma.

Very, very tasty. Seems almost like it’s not beer though, and that scares me. Great for a lady too!

Super.

BottleDe Tolly Joogipood.. Pours slightly hazy red with reddish small head. Aroma of raspberries, sour and acidy. Taste of natural raspberries, its sour, and sweet and acidity. I Love this beer with small doses sometimes.

Bottle at home split with Sarah as Foudroyante Framboise. Aroma is nice fresh strawberry fruit, sharp strawberry yoghurt and a little sweetness on the nose as well. Clear deep reddy purple coloured pour with a lastong loose bright pink head. Flavour is sugary sweet, really fresh strawberry, sharp clean acid, a little spicy finish and fruit pips. Palate is syrupy sweet, moderate carbonation and clean tangy acidic finish. Nice fruit bouquet with strawberry, cherry and raspberry. Tasty stuff. Yes it’s sweet but the acid freshens it up really well.

Aroma: intense raspberries, light sour. Appearance: slightly hazy, red, small, reddish, creamy head. Taste: medium sweet. Palate: sweets continue, massive raspberries, getting a bit dry and bitter. Overall: very pleasant Lambic / Fruit beer. Bottle from Beers of Europe, Kings Lynn.

Firstly I’d like to point out (for my own benefit, apparently) that the description above says this beer contains "undertones" of fresh raspberries. This is a raspberry BOMB. It seems like there are some pungent, funky aromas hiding behind all that raspberry, but they’re tough for me to discern. Taste is raspberry jam with just enough tartness to make your lips contemplate puckering. Many other reviews below say it manages to be sweet without being syrupy or cloying, and while I won’t disagree I’d say this stuff pushes the boundaries of cloying/syrupy sweetness. Calling this "fruit lambic for beginners" seems about right to me. And speaking as a lambic noob, I think I’m ready for the real stuff.

Tap @ basement beer bar. Aroma of raspberry and some tartness. Red colour with small pink head. Tiny lasting. Mild sour and moderate sweetness. Full body, watery texture, sweet finish, average+ carbonation.

750ml bottle. Pours a clear deep, deep burgundy with a one finger head that disappeared quickly. The nose is almost pure raspberry juice, with acidic notes, and light yeast. The taste is sweet balanced with tartness, and again, almost pure raspberry juice, with some light yeast, and tart apple pretty much from beginning to end. Basically liquid sour candy. It’s a one trick pony, but it’s a trick I’m awfully fond of. This is damn tasty.
