37.5cl bottle from Brune Rousse Houblon in Nice, France. Pours a deep red-purple colored body with an inch thick, dense, foamy and frothy, purple head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is fresh raspberries with a light mix of tart and sweet as well as just a touch of medicinal acidity. Flavor is similar. Lots of fresh raspberries with a touch of sweetness up front and a light tartness towards the end. A slight syrupy touch as well, but not cloying. Finishes clean and fruity with a light tartness before leaving a fairly lengthy aftertaste. Light body and a lively, soft, moderate carbonation. Overall, a pretty solid Framboise. Very fruity, but well balanced without ever getting too sweet or tart. Good beer.

Bottle with cap and cork... why?? Anyway, this was shared with the misses and she loved it and quite surprisingly, so did I. It pours a murky, brownish pink beer with a small pink head. Aroma is raspberries all over, slight touch of oak. Flavor is starts intensely sweet, has a full raspberry flavor and light tart, dry finish. Very good.

375 ml bottle, at home, poured into a snifter this time. ABV 2,5%
Very deep ruby red colour on the body and very dark. On top sits a two fingers tall pink head, with good retention and light lacing left around the glass.
Very nice aroma with candy sugar, berries and roses.
Taste is sweet and also flowery, with obvious berries notes, a flavour that reminded me of red apples as well. It turns to mildly sour on the aftertaste.
Medium thickness on the body, soft carbonation. Tart on the palate.
Nice beer, tasty, good balanced, widely available and cheap.

Draft. Deep red with thin off white head. Aroma is rich raspberry with slight mineral background. Taste is intense sweet and sour raspberry, with an effervescence similar to a champagne. Hoping for more to it, possibly was too cold.

I’m unfamiliar with lambics so I’m not sure if this is a good execution or not. Supremely drinkable but too simple for me. Tastes like high quality strawberry syrup in dry ginger ale.
