gives a real initial tartness of the first sip, after the shock taste of Raspberry sherbet and fizzy taste.

Ahh, standards. I recently rated a blueberry beer and said that it tasted like a muffin. It did. In a bad way. This tastes like Raspberries. Not necessarily in a bad way, but not in a good way either. When I was dorming in college we had a pop fountain (soda, for you non-Canadians, buffalonians, or Chicago-ites) One day that pop machine started spitting out pure rootbeer syrup. I thought it’d be cool to try. I mean, I like rootbeer. So I poured myself (ever so slowly) a glass of rootbeer syrup. I sat down with my chicken patty doused with Franks Red Hot (as it was chicken patty Tuesdays) and sipped my beverage. I tasted rootbeer for a week. No amount of Franks could save that. Now, this beer isn’t quite as extreme, but its more raspberry than any raspberry beverage I’ve had before.. and I think that includes raspberry juice. its kinda like those "pure juice" ice bars that dole makes.. but alcoholic..

Hazy red with a weak reddish head. An aroma of raspberry, red fruits and sour notes. A flavor fresh raspberries, sour notes and red berries. nice!

Pours dark ruby with a thick, pink head, lasting, nice lacing. The aroma is of a pint of fresh picked raspberries. The flavor is initially sweet raspberries with a big tart finish. Champagne mouthfeel. I really enjoyed drinking this, but it is not a Lambic.

Bottle. Pours cranberry red with a pink head. Tastes and smells like raspberry sorbet, although the flavor is a bit more tart. Very drinkable.

Bottle: Pours a deep ruby red color with no head or lacing. Nose is sweet with raspberries and honey. Tastes rich with raspberry sweet and tart with a little of that malt beverage base. Very enjoyable when dreaming of something sweet and fruity.

If I wanted candy, I would have bought a lollipop. What the hell is this? I give it points for originality, but more of a belgian alcopop if there is such a thing. Weird.
