UPDATED: NOV 26, 2012 This was good as a treat. Would pair well with strong cheese plate to balance the sweetness, but we tried it with dessert - sweetness overload! Great cherry flavor, nice sour hit on the back end. Cold is a must...not very pleasant as it warmed up. Very champagne-like, light mouthfeel, minimal aftertaste. Wasn’t what I expected - different style for sure. Liked, would drink again, but would use differently.

Bottle pour into tulip glass from Cigarette City. Aroma is alternating tart and sweet of cranberries, raspberries, fruit, but more tart than sweet. Appearance is hazy red with minimal sparkle, finger-width off-white foamy head with poor retention and trace lacing. Taste is as aroma--reminds me a bit of cranraspberry drink, though a little more to the tart side. Palate is light bodied with thin texture and soft carbonation, tart finish. Overall, I didn’t expect to like this and pretty much didn’t, though it wasn’t as bad as I thought. I’m just not a big tart guy.

Bottle. Clear ruby pour with a pink head. Tons of raspberries in the nose, some raspberry jam and lactose. The taste is sweet with a low sourness. Refreshing, but a bit too sweet for its abv.

Bottle from local pizza place. Reddish copper pour with no head. Aroma has fruits and light oak. Taste is tart raspberries, other fruits, oak. Quite sweet, yet a bit dry. Blend is well done. Carbonation is low. Body is medium and there is little alcohol presence. Finishes sweet and tart. Very tasty. 14

Multiple bottles over the years in the US and Japan. Simple but straightforward sweetened lambic. Nice strong raspberry nose. Sweet and tart raspberry on the palate. Well-carbonated. No funk or oaky notes, sweet on the palate. Finishes with a berry sweetness. Not as good as Boon’s, but still a fun introductory lambic I guess.

Red color with pinkish head. Aroma has intense raspberry juice, doesn’t seem too sweet. Taste is sweet and sour with intense raspberry juice, doesn’t seem artificial. Light body with soft moutfeel. Another one from the nice line of Lindemans sweetened lambics. It doesn’t have any lambic funk but it has nice fruit notes.

Served in a tulip from a 250ml bottle. Pours very dark clear magenta with reddish pink head. Aroma is raspberries with a hint of cherries. Taste is raspberries, slightly more than medium sweet and slightly sour. Medium body with lively carbonation. Tasty and enjoyable.

Zapach intensywny, malinowy, kwaskowy, odrobinę dzikości. Kolor ciemnorubinowy, mętne. Piana różowa, średnio obfita, drobna, średnio trwała, ładny lacing. W smaku słodkie, maliny, średnia, lekko ściągająca kwaśność. Brak goryczki, średnie nasycenie.

Tap at Wurst Bier Hall. Nice dark ruby pour. Wow, amazing raspberry aroma. Taste follows, tart but puckering, sweet. Really delicious.
