Goodgrief (997), Middletown, Delaware, USA Apr 14, 2008 Pour was purple with pinkish head, decent lacing. Huge aroma of raspberries. The first sip was striking...man, that’s a lot of raspberries. It makes New Glarus Raspberry Tart seem tame. Really, really sweet, difficult to drink with mild sour lambic notes...very mild. Hardly "beerlike" at all...just sweet raspberry mash. A little too much.
BoBoChamp (329), Gent, Belgium Jul 21, 2008 25cl, from De Hopduvel Gent, easy to drink, sweet, hazy, good head, nice brew, but too sweet Guinness4Duff (429), Tallahassee (and Poconos, PA), Florida, USA Jul 16, 2008 Bottle. Reddish/Purple pour with a pink head. Has a tart raspberry aroma. Flavor is similar, very tart and sour with a nice raspberry taste. very good. DandyWolfFloyd (200), Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 15, 2008 Lambics are truly worth their sticker price. This brew is heavenly perfumed with raspberry aroma, but not a syrupy aroma. It’s smell is full of fresh raspberry. It’s appearance is a red color, with a pink fizzy head. It’s raspberry champagne in taste, but not at all to carbonated. It’s smooth, adequately carbonated and easily drinkable. Perfect. SuperDave70 (652), Arizona, USA Jul 14, 2008 Dark red with a foamy pink head. Raspberry and malt aroma. Raspberry sweetart flavor. Fizzy champagne palate. A good Lambic. Quietman (150), Florida, USA Jul 12, 2008 Dark red.Pink head.Very raspberry aroma.Sweet flavor and tart but not too much of either.Nicely carbonated. Not bad. It’s not something I would have all the time, but it is a nice change of pace occasionally.
