Dark crimson colour with a jammy aroma. Taste has plenty of raspberry sweetness and a bit of sourness, though not enough. Non beer drinkers of my acquaintance enjoyed it immensely, comparing it to a British alcopop called Sweet and Sour Cherry Veba. This is probably not a comparison with which Brouwerij Lindemans will be particularly pleased.

aroma is really fruity sweet, but somewhat crisp. a dark reddish pink beer flavor was sweet, but has some acidity as well. just not a fruit beer guy though.

This is a very, very sweet lambic. It has only the barest hint of the sour aftertaste that I expect from a proper lambic. This is more like a juice box than a proper beer.

shared bottle. deep burnt red pour with a 1 finger white head. huge fresh raspberry nose. this is all fruit - NO sourness, tartness or funk at all. I prefer the more authentic (Cantillon) lambic to this style. I don’t feel like I am smelling a beer. This is more like pie. medium body with a very sweet raspberry presence from front to back. light tartness on the finish, but the strong fruit notes dominate the palate. overall, way too sweet for me - it is like drinking a piece of candy...

OK, I am not a lambic person. Not really beer, but I had to try one (my first). Simply doesn’t belong.

strong raspberry (and cherry) aroma, with a deep red color, and a cherry colored head. it started fruity, and finished sour. with a fizzy palate. an interesting sample.
