Smell is sweet raspberries. Not much else here at all.
Sweet raspberries hit your tongue, hard. Fresh flavor, not artificial. Slight tartness follows and then finishes nicely sweet.
Great mouthfeel with just about perfect carbonation. Nice and creamy.
I find this to be the most balanced of all of the Lindemans fruit lambics. It is also highly drinkable, for a dessert beer, or anytime.
Enjoy!

The smell and appearance reminds me more of a champagne than a beer. Being that this is my first Lambic it might be typical. det2nj (31), Newark, New Jersey, USA

Smooth and sweet, with raspberry flavor-- with a pleasant bitterness accompanying the sweetness. It is clean and fresh like they suggest. It goes quick! aguyintx66 (78), Humble, Texas, USA

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jan 19, 2009 To be certain, I am partial to raspberrys. This is so unlike what I expected. I was certain that this was going to be like some american lime beer with a little bit of fruit squeezed in at the end. Nope. Raspberries were everywhere; in the aroma, in the pour, on the tongue. Goodness gracious, it is a good thing I love raspberries. Oh, by the way, some may think of it as a chick drink, but remember, if mama’s happy, you might be too. gracefullypunk (360), Washington, USA

Beautiful to look at, beautiful to smell. Sour, red fruits, sugar all in the aroma. Tastes the same--primarily of tart raspberries. This beer is meant to be a sweet/sour tasting of raspberries and it does it superbly.
