Bottle. Poured a murky cranberry-red with an average sized fizzy pink head that was fully diminishing and had good lacing. The aroma was overwhelming with the scent of raspberries with mild notes of a sweet yeast. It tasted sweet and very much so raspberry in the beginning and ended about the same with a slight tartness and mildly acidy at the finish. Mouthfeel was light to medium in body and dry in texture with a lively carbonation. Overall a very tasty Lambic.

Bottle. Jeez, I can’t believe I haven’t rated this yet! I’ve had this beer many times and I try always to have some in the fridge for guests who want something "light and fruity". I really enjoy how it is genuine juicy raspberry without being corn syrupy sweet, and it has a nice subtle yeast character with a tart finish.

375ml Bottle from The Trading House, Glasgow (£5.75):
This one was a really nice, quite sweet lamib with a low alcohol content that helped it go down very easily with a great balance & strong fruity taste that was dominated by raspberries as expected. The beer wasn’t a very complex one but the taste still proved very enjoyable so this was a worry & it was a well done beer that proved highly drinkable.

Dark purple color with small purple head. Sweet raspberry aroma. Taste is sugary, some tartness, but lots of sweet raspberries. Very sweet. Not lambic at all, but drinkable, I guess.

750 ml bottle from LCBO, served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass. Slight gusher.

App.: Clear deep black-red with a firm dark pink head. Aroma: Intense artificial raspberry, cough syrup, pie filling, some “real” raspberry too as fruit, juice, leaves/bush, all fruit, all the time. Palate: Medium body with fairly high carbonation. Flav.: Intensely sweet raspberry jam with some acidity, cough syrup with a little raspberry bush, so much fruit again; very sweet with balancing tartness and a long, stewed raspberry finish.

Back off on the sweetener, already!

tmrmwel (1368) - Bergen, NORWAY - SEP 23, 2015
Bottle. Pours dark red, with an airy head. Aroma is raspberry candy, with fruit peel. Full body, with soft to average carbonation. Flavour is lightly tart fruity with raspberries, some funky notes, as well as sugar and candy. Finishes off with a nice light tart fruitiness. As good as it gets for a sugary, low ABV lambic.

Dark red color with pink foam ring. The smell is sweet and resembles not only raspberry, but also blackberry and cassis. The taste fresh, well carbonated, a little sour and quite fruity (not even a very chemical kind of fruity). A little too sweet and with a light sticky aftertaste, but otherwise a delightful refreshing summer beer.
