Aroma was yeast, tart citrus, some solid funk, some barnyard notes in there too. Flavor was tart, acidic, vinegar, spicy, a bare hint of sweetness with some really great fruit notes. Wonderful tasting. Really nice beer. I’ll have to look for it again. djd07 (757), Houston, Texas, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Aug 1, 2009 Bottle as shown. Pours a clear orange golden with a small frothy off white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is a spicy citrus and yeast. Thin mouthfeel with a sour tart with citrus and clove. Easy to drink, did not get the "champagne" taste from the description. A good Lambic from Lindemans. joshpiledean (228), Ames, Iowa, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 1, 2009 Golden straw pour, fluffy white head. Aroma of sour barnyard lambic, maybe lighly skunky, but i’m sure that’s from being on the top shelf at Cyclone Liquor for a little too long. There is no evidence of skunk on my palate, however, as this proves to be a mild, albeit tasty gueuze. imadeadguy (378), back in NJ!, New Jersey, USA

Aromas of tart funk, slight spice, and it smells like a heineken. Flavor is light and tart with light citrus fruit, sour funk, and finishing somewhat fizzy. Nice gueuze for the price and damn good. | 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 26, 2009 Large bottle, with cork and cap. The beer is a lively hazy golden colour with a thick, fairly permanent white head. Slight lacework on the glass. Aroma is fairly tart, musty, with some light fruit, apple and what could be brett. Mouthfeel is quite spritzy, fairly light to medium in body. The flavour is wonderful: very approachable sourness, tart fruit, light grapefruit, lemon, dryness in the finish. Really wonderful. Funky, mildewy aroma with sour lemon notes and vinegar. Very sour flavor with lemon and citrus. Very woody. Nice lambic. Merrill (77), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Jul 20, 2009 Lovely pour of bright light yellow, somewhat cloudy, with a snowy white head. Tart aroma of early fruit. Immediate sour hit on the tongue resolving quickly and refreshingly into lemon, kumquat, cherries, the best parts of chardonnay, very refreshing and tart. Effervescence is slightly champagne-like! thirdeye11 (564), Texas, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Jul 16, 2009 (750ml corked and capped bottle) Bottled October 2007. Pours an opaque yellow with a nice big fluffy head and oily bubbles. Nose is sour cherries, some barnyard funk, and nice acidity that’s not vinegar-like but just right. Taste is really good too. Very sour but not vinegar, in a way reminds me of Flintstones chewable vitamins without the bitterness. Sour cherries are in the taste. The finish is still sour, makes my mouth water it’s so good, and some nice funky flavors are sticking around. Honestly one of the best finishes I’ve had in a beer and the carbonation is nice and champagne-like. Really a superb sour beer.
