A golden hue sets off the wonderful almost champagne like taste.

Aroma of sour funk. Very sour at first but then its balanced very well at the end with bread, superb, dry, drinkable finish. Excellent.

Bottle, 375 ml. Pours cloudy light amber with around two fingers of very lively and soapy head, which dissipates after a while. Lot of cheesy yeast on the nose, with some strong fruity notes including grapes, very sour varieties of apple (resulting in an aroma that’s a mixture of cider and champagne) and some citrus. Grassy and floral notes are also present. Taste is very sour with an exceptionally dry finish, consisting mostly of citrus and apple, with a duller aftertaste of cheese and yeast. Very, very sharp, an effect amplified by the high carbonation which leaves the tounge with a slight tingle. By no means smooth and easily drinkable but provides a significant warmth for only a 5.5%. This is my introduction to Gueuze lambics and I’m not certain if it’s quite my thing yet, but this is most certainly a well made beer.

Got at bottle shop, this is the most phenomenal brew I have had, sour dough with hint of rye, basement background and sour beyond sour but with the backup of the yeast breadlines. The balance was unreal. Buy it all d time.

75cl bottle thanks to ruigo. Dark hazy gold color. Thin head. High sourness, and medium bitterness. Citrus, wheat, brett, herb aroma.

355 ml bottle. Pours a hazy gold with a loose, white head that quickly drops to a swirling nebula of tiny bubbles at the surface. The nose is a dry lemongrass tartness with a mineral-farmhouse yeast backing. Light-bodied and effervescent, it finishes pleasantly tart without being puckering. The flavor is of tart, lightly lemony mineral water with fine carbonation and a touch of malt sweetness transitioning to slightly dry finish. This is a very refreshing and tasty gueuze.

Pours a clear honey amber with two fingers of fluffy white head diminishing gradually to a thin cap and moderate spotty lacing. Nose is barnyard funk, sharp apple cider, faint grapes and wheaty malt. Taste follows suit, starting with tart apples giving way to musty and cobwebby horse blanket. Mouth feel is light and crisp, with moderate sustained carbonation and a lingering dry finish. This is a very nice gueuze, reminiscent of a dry champagne. Minimal sweetness paired with emphatic (but not overwhelming) tartness is the dominant characteristic, but the musty funk kicks in rapidly and lingers. I quite like this, but feel like the nose in particular could be more complex. It’s very good, but falls a little short of great.

A very nice gueze. Pours a hazy effervescent orange. Aromas of lemon, apple, and white wine. Flavors are woody, bitter, some nice sweetness and some sour. Not as sour as some gueze.. but still a solid brew.

Dark yellow with lots of carbonation and foamy head. Light body with lemon juice, green apples but also some walnuts and sugar. The finish is dominated by the acidity, but well balanced with some dry and sweet flavours too

Sour, sour and hmmmm... I guess that could be -- hmmm. SOUR! There’s a bit of some very citric grapefruit in the SOUR, enigmatically heavy body. There are some mild horse blanket aromas that fully emerge just as a tannin-laced SOUR finish completes the experience. Yes, good but just SOUR. I actually love a good sour beer, but this bottle was almost wholly one-dimensional.
