Great barnyard funk in the aroma, with some hints of sour...cherry? The taste is very nice, with moderate tartness and delicious citrus fruitiness. The mouth feel is exceptional, with nice bubbly carbonation that tickles the tongue. This is for an 08 that I just had. I’ve had an 03 and a 94, and I remember both of those as having a stronger sourness.

A nice, tart gueuze. While not quite as wonderful as some gueuze, this is still excellent beer. This is a real punch in the mouth gueuze that leaves a film of tartness on the teeth, like licking a lemon. In fact, it’s a bit like mixing with lemon juice with a good, dry champagne, which sounds appealing to me, anyway. There’s some dry, neutral oak in the finish and a tiny touch of horse blanket-brett flavor peeks out. Otherwise, it’s mostly lemon/grapefruit rind tart. While it’s not my favorite gueuze, it’s still quite good and comes in at a much lower price than the competition. If only Lindemans would stop sweetening their fruit lambics (or start importing the Kriek Cuvée René)...

Lovely golden-hued opaque gueuze with dissipating tan-tinged head. Aroma is sour fruits, white wine vinegar, light pepper and honey. Taste is cider-ish, yeasty with a very ascetic profile. Finish is sour, crisp, refreshing and everything a gueuze should be (albeit sweeter than some).

Pours clear orange color underneath a solid one finger deep white head. Aroma is apples and white grapes. Flavor is sour, palate is lightly watery.

Yellow body, no real head, aroma is tart sours and a hint at some funk, flavor is citric acid and a hint at some funk, some form of a malt body even shines through on some level, this is probably the perfect level of sour to be insanely sour yet completely drinkable. very enjoyable and probably the most accessable to a sour newb who has already tried the likes of the Duchesse/Monk’s Kettle etc... very sour though, make no mistake.

Nice hazy golden colored liquid, almost cloudy. One finger head of foam that dissipates smoothly to leave a nice filmy covering. Very good lacing. Smell is powerful to the point of room-filling. Not that that’s a bad thing, though. It’s quite pleasant. Tart sour apples. Honey sweetness. Band-aid phenols. Slight pepperey spiciness. Overall it smells like a nice big basket of tart fruits. Man that is one good sour-bomb! Taste is very much like cider on steroids. Big, powerful and tasty. Definite sour apple presence. Light honey sweetness that brings a small bit of balance. Acidic presence of fresh squeezed lemons or slightly under-ripened peaches. Nice bit of spice on the back end. All wrapped up in a slight bit of musty funk. Nice crisp and clean in the mouth. Nothing overpowering. Kind of unexpected for a sour, but quite enjoyable. Very satisfying and easy to drink. Mmmm! This is one tasty, tasty bottle. Would like to have it over and over again. Very highly drinkable, as long as you aren’t opposed to sours.

Golden hazy color with nice foamy head. Aroma and taste is vinegar, apple cider, skunky. Crazy sourness that puckers like sour patch kids. Medium carbonation very fizzy.

Pours hazy oranage with a thin head. The aroma is very nice. Strong and yeasty with nites of orange and banana. The flavour is very sour. Almost a bit off puting. but as you drink it the palate comes out more. The beer has a kind of citrus sourdough flavour. Very interesting beer. Great mouth feel.
