37.5 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a diminished white head. Slight soapy, brett and mild barnyard aroma. Flavour is mild acidic into a mild citric tone. Quite mild and smooth. Also a smooth finish with no classic gueuze sharpness.

Bottle. Large thick egg-white head that mostly diminished. Good display of lacework. Cloudy golden color. Horse blanket, barnyard, earthy, light citrus and fruity, leather and maybe a hint of soap. Over the palate some spice and light dusty grain like feel. Medium to full bodied with a light dry texture and an average carbonation. Moderated acidic with light sweet notes. Light dry and leather like sour finish.

Translucent gold orange witha small white head. The aroma is of hay, sour cherry/apple/raspberry, lemon, and a little barnyardy. The carbonation is lively but not overbearing, while the gueuze is light on the palate. Very dry and fairly sour, lemon, a hint of cherry, and some herbal components make up the flavor profile. Something nice to sip on during summer as an alternative to beer, white wine, or champagne.

355 ml bottle into tumbler. Bottle opens without the release of much suppressed carbonation, which is odd for gueuze in my experience. The pour produces a head, but not a huge one; it’s initially fluffy, but dissipates pretty quickly into a thick dusting. Pale orange in the glass. Smells lightly funky; doesn’t really assault your nose, kind of sits back on its heels. Still quite tart despite the lack of aparent acidity on the nose, although it doesn’t wrap around the tongue and grab your saliva glands like the best of them. The bubbles form a smooth sliding blanket on the top of the tongue and coat it all the way back. The acidity subsides pretty quickly, leaving a white grape fruitiness and a little confectioner’s sweetness, which quickly morphs into a proseco-like driness with what seems to be a noble-hop-esque tingle. Kind of dirty and dusty all the way through, which is a nice counterpoint to the bright acidity. Not as over the top as my favorites, this is kind of a "session" gueuze, I guess.

2007 Bottling. Murkey orange color almost glows from the oversize snifter it is sitting in. Prominent Bret aroma of horse blanket, but sharp and "clean" for bret. It smells like a bag of sweet tarts. It is acidic but not overly so, more like a crisp granny smith apple. Deep fruit flavors like dried apricot blend with the dusty, dirty bret notes. There are some definite earthy flavors, like fresh turned soil. This is a great offering, not too acidic, funky, wild, or vinegar like it is a nice balanced lambic. Very well done, worth every penny if you can find it!

Golden color with a slight white head. Sour apple funk aroma gets me all sorts of excited. Nice tart taste. Some grassy notes. Lots of sour apple. Thirst quenching. It’s almost like they make this to prove a point to beer nerds.

Nice tart aroma with hints of grass underneath. Pours a dark amber with a fluffy white head. Crisp tart aroma, with some fruitiness underneath as well as some other flavor I can’t place. Not a bad gueuze, but not the first I would recommend to people.

Bottle, Flute, pours cloudy with a nice fluffy head, Very nice tart aroma, some light malts, a bit of fruit perhaps strawberries of the most faint sorts touch with a slight mild apricot. Good, very nice a tart but finishes quite dry, very easy to drink, tart somewhere between a lemon and a lime, but in no way bitter. Should have bought a 750ml its quite nice. Some light notes of straw and hay. Well structured aroma. I like this and its my first Gueze, I am interested in tring more.
