Lots of different aroma’s, citrus, funk, fruit... Taste is refreshing and twangy, lots of flavours lie in the depths of this brew... A Great Gueuze for sure.. but split the 750ml bottle with another person! Miksu (2241), Jyväskylä, Finland

Refreshing, acidic and fruity aroma with pineapple, lime and grapefruit. Acidic and fruity flavor with pineapple, citrus fruits and woody or corky notes. Bitter and earthy notes from the wild yeast. Very refreshing with good balanced levels of acidity and wild yeast character. joshwilfong (803), Cleveland, Ohio, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Aug 29, 2007 golden appearance with moderate carbonation. flavor is initially bitingly sour, mouthfeel is a little thin. overall the flavor is incredibly unique with a strong sour and bitter character at times with a funky depth. i have never had a non-fruit flavored lambic, so it is difficult to truly rate this, but it is definitely interesting Drink4Satan (586), Bristol, Rhode Island, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Aug 28, 2007 This is the first gueuze I’ve ever encountered, and I must say I’m totally sold on the style. The nose is so complex, and mildly abrassive, I just can’t get enough. Strong musty barnyard, dust, lemon, tart grapefruit, skinless grapes (chardonay) all come to mind. The flavour is vinous, tart, sour and fruity, like a mix between a champagne and an old pinot gris. The acidy is unlike much of what I’ve come across before. It is intoxicating. There is also a storng presence of sugar and cinnimon, which cuts much of the acidity. The palate is full and round and very dry in the finish. I feel that the flavour is raunchy, but in a clean way, If that is possible. A buddy of mine said it reminded him of a dairy farm. I was surprised at how easy this was to drink. I look forward to exploring this style further and coming across more robust examples of it. JoeinUccle (911), Brussels, Belgium
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Aug 26, 2007 One of the most accessible of the traditional gueuzes, and maybe the prettiest -- especially in that classy Lindemans flute. This oude gueuze may lack some of the musty character of its more acclaimed colleagues, but it’s far from simple. 75 cL pours translucent orange-copper with a white head. Nose of lemon and grapefruit with a little dust. Flavor is big on grapefruit with slightly musty tinges. Less challenging or harsh than other gueuze heavyweights, but still delicious and refreshing. Acidity is under control. Superb balance. Easy on the belly and nice with food... We enjoyed with some peppered goat cheese and fresh bread. EHSRanders (1122), Randers C, Denmark

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 22, 2007 From a 750mL Bottle. Tasted side-by-side with Lindemans Gueuze. No comparison. Pours a crystal clear color of pale straw with a well sustaining head of fizzy brilliant white. Acidic nose with loads of fermented lemons and a light floral perfume. Rose petals and dry chardonnay. Light bodied, crisply carbonated mouthfeel. The acidity level is moderate, but the carbonation is perfect, leaving a pleasant sizzle on the tongue. The flavors start out a bit on the metallic side, with a strange artificial sugar flavor accompanying a nice, refreshing pinot grigio vinous-like quality. This fades on the backend of the palate, leaving notes of lemon and white grapes lingering on the tongue. Very bright and refreshing with a cleansing acidity; not overly complex, but expertly constructed and not weighed down by heavy woody notes.
