| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 26, 2007 Courtesy mgumby10. Cloudy dark straw color with a thick white head. Mild funk aromas with some sweet notes. The stank component not as upfront as some gueuzes I’ve had, but still a pleasant aroma. Taste is not aggressively sour, but still somewhat acidic, and the finish is dry and pleasant. mgumby10 (1858), Jupiter, Florida, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Apr 25, 2007 Pours a cloudy orange yellow, with a fairly thick, foamy white head. Smell is big acidity and sourness as expected. Alot of orange and lemons working together. The taste is huge sour, really tart and quite lip puckering. The finish actually is somewhat smooth and easy to drink. Just a great lambic from this brewery. Good stuff. talon1117 (633), Bellvue, Colorado, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Apr 22, 2007 Bottled 04-05-06, Pours with an enormous head which fills most of the glass, but in time, the white, fluffy head settles to a drinkable amount over a orangy-golden color with some haze and plenty of effervescence. Head does leave a small amount the entire time with lacing that is sporatic but nice. Nose is great with a soft tart ness of lemons and overripe soured cherries, other notes of horse blanket, dusty yeast, and some wet woods; very nice. Flavor is more acidic and slightly acetic with light vinegar notes, sourness of lemon zest, and some tartness from overripe cherry pits; woody notes of oak and some wet cedar later in the flavor. Palate is moderately light, lively, and refreshing but ending quickly with a drying effect. Finishes quickly with some lemon zest, wet cedar, and a light bitterness. Only the second Gueuze I’ve had, but it’s a style that really grows on you the more you drink. The Girardin was more delicate with its soft tartnes in the taste and nose but this one carries less funk character and a more interesting nose. It’s too bad this style is note more commonly produced because it would be great for warm days or any champagne type celebration. drewbeerme (2316), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 21, 2007 Updated: Dec 14, 20072005, 750ml. pours hazy golden with little fizzy white head. nose has nice oak, tart, pretty funky, vinegar and lemon. flavor is nicely balanced with moderate acidity, oak, sour and tart, and lemon. finish is smooth, crisp, and very refreshing. this is joy to drink.4.1.
12/14/07, 2005 vintage, 750ml bottle. the aroma was a bit better than the flavor. a real solid oaky and sour nose but the flavor wasnt sour enough. a slight raspberry note running through it. still a very solid gueuze, but a 4.1. it is not and probably was never worthy of it. 3.9. piscator34 (1137), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Apr 21, 2007 Dark gold in colour with a bit of haze and a gentle carbonation. Aromas of wet cedar, sour lemon, and cherry pits. More lactic lemony sourness in the mouth, along with some mild woody astringency. As it warmed, a bit of a toungue coating cheese element revealed itself. Very drinkable and refreshing stuff. Not overly farmhouse-funky, but I find myself wanting to take larger sips. gunsho (134), Louisville, Kentucky, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 17, 2007 my favorite lindemans beer by far. the color was golden blonde with a thin white head. the tartness permeates the space around the beer first through the nose and then more prevalently in the taste. sweet grapes and tart apples mellow out into a long aftertaste that is remarkably subtle and balanced considering the initial reaction in the olfactory. with a champagne like feel this lambic is truly an experience. beerandrugby (210), Nashville, Tennessee, USA

We asked the Lindemans guy for his favorite brew and this was it. I’m sorry but I hated it! On my list of beers I drank at the festival I have "Shite!" scrawled out beside this.
