3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle, 12/22/2013. Pours hazy golden orange, fizzy head dies to the surface, decent lacing built up around the glass. Aroma is moderately sweet for a geuze, with pear, apple flesh, yet middle is satisfying barnyard notes, damp, mild funk and wood. Taste is tart green apple and tropical notes, brett, mild farmyard coming through, touch of oak, lemon bitterness. Light body, effervescent but not quite crisp. Pretty tasty.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a sparkling orange with a slight haziness to it. Small white head that disappears quickly. Carbonation is lively though! Aromas of stinky cheese, hay, green apple and a light bread. Taste is pretty tart up front. Green apple and lemon. A nice depth comes across in the middle with some cheese, barnyard, earth, hay and bread. Finishes nicely with a slight dryness. Carbonation continues to explode flavors until the end. Very nice for the price point!

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber from Wilbur’s. Appearance: finger of white head that dissipates quickly, light cloudy orange color. Aroma: peach, very light nuttiness, oak. Palate: light body, average carbonation, slight lasting bitterness on finish, very dry finish. Taste: medium sweetness, decent tartness, and what I can only assume is something unique to this style. Overall, first Gueuze Lambic, very different. I think it is something I could grow very fond of, but very different for a first try.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle from Dranken Pauwels. Nice and fizzy and effervescent in the glass. Cloudy orange amber, has some bits of residue floating in it. Nose is sour, cheesy, farmyard, funky, horse blanket, lemon citrous, Champagne yeast, green apple, white wine vinegar, cider. It’s very rich and full flavoured. Taste is sour, green apples, cheesy feet, funky, lemon citrous, farmyard, cider. Nice combo of sweet and sour. Probably the funkiest lambic I’ve ever had. It’s light and Champagne like but with a cider, apple juice body.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
A little over a year from bottling. Pours hazy hay/straw with a small head. Nose is sour apple, raspberry, funk, barnyard. Taste is sour on the front, with lemon/lime note, sour apple, a little plant bitterness, lemon rind, a sweetness on the end, also a barnyard funk at the end. Very good widely available sour. Not artificially sweetened liked other lindemanns , I wish they'd do more like this.
