4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
-Backlog- Vintage 2012. Pours hazy golden with white head. Huge aroma of fruity brett and oak. Fruity palate. Aftertaste is also loads of fruit and some funk. Overall: An excellent example of the style. Probably the best gueuze i have tried.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
375ml bottle (thanks FatPhil). Hazy amber color. Tiny head, stays as a ring. Burnt rubber, plastic, very deep roasted almonds, oily, sweet, olives in aroma. Battery acid, roasted almonds (or maybe I imagine), burnt plastic in taste. I can feel my digestive tract dissolving. And teeth.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
375 ml. corked bottle poured in to a Flute. 2013 "Vintage". Hazy golden colour with a slight amber tint. Bubbly, white head that fades to a thin layer. Tart aroma with apples, yeasts, vinegar, lemon peel, light barnyard and a wooden note. Taste is sour. Medium body with an initial champagne-like carbonation that suggest this is a "young" Gueuze. Creamy texture. Finishes rather dry with tart apples and vinegar. Enjoyable and straightforward Gueuze. Maybe this one should have been thrown in the back of my "beercellar" for further complexity?

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
My first gueze. Aroma is dominated by earthy, leathery tart apples with slight funky bready undertones. Taste hits first with a carbonated citric acid bite, then opens up to reveal the tart apples hinted at by the smell. Finishes tart and extremely dry. A good introduction to the style for me. I’ll be seeking out more guezes.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Corked bottle poured. Pours a light golden color with a really nice, sour apple aroma. Sweet and sour fruit flavors. A little green apple. Light. Really nice tart finish. Definitely champagne like, but very much in a good way. Enjoyed this a lot.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Aroma: citrus, a bit of sharp sourness
Appearance: golden, sparkling, frothy head at pour, light sustained head
Taste: medium bitterness, medium sourness, has a sharpness balanced between the two flavours, bitterness lingers in the aftertaste.
Palate: light body, fizzy, bitter,
Overall: the taste despite its bitterness is relatively inoffensive, not my usual choice for beer, but not bad.

3.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Golden, amber color, with a huge, froth head.
Very tart nose, lots of acidity with green apple peel and musty, leathery yeast. Somehow fruity with a complex tartness, very rich in aromas.
Lighter in body than expected, with a decent tart complexity and very high, refreshing carbonation. Carbonation somehow overlocks the acidic sourness, finishing with a dry, slick aftertaste. Lime and apple sourness hit the palate in a dry but pleasant, uncomprimising way. Requires alomst room-temperature to reveal its sour, fruity layer, but starts to get really convincing then. Still, finish is defined by metallic hints and sour brett flavors, a bit watery, then ending quite tart.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Clear golden with little to no head, almost looks like apple juice. Aroma is light, a little fruity. Flavor is dry and sweet. A little tart in the finish.
