3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: APR 21, 2012 Pours hazy yellow, very small head here - about a finger that disappeared within seconds. Aroma of tire rubber, sour cherry, green apple, yeast, brett, salt, Actually quite inviting! Taste is sour - almost pucker-worthy. Green apple, young pear, brett, lemon, sea salt, - everything combined reminded me or having a good musty saison with a handful of sour candies. Went tremendous with some curried chicken! light bodied and fairly high carbonation which works well or this style. I’ll happily revisit the half dozen sitting in my cellar in a few months - I can only imagine how this will have matured. my first gueze, and quite the introduction to this style.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
BB 04.2019, 0.375L bottle. Pours golden with nice white head. The head stays for a some time. Nice lacing. Aroma: intense sour, fruity, tart, some dryness. Taste: very sour dry, like very sour cherries. This one really reminds wine. Very sour finish. Fizzy carbonation. Overall: carbonation and sourness are a little bit too much for me, but it is really solid gueuze.

4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Davvero pregevole.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
0,375l bottle from Csakajósör, Budapest. Clear pale colored beer without foam. Sour, fruity odor. Strong, tart, fruity aroma. More intensive, than other sour ales. It has a unique moldy, tart flavor, what reminds me to Roquefort cheese. Very intensive and delicious one. Medium tart taste. Creamy texture, light to medium body, soft carbonation. Sour, fruity finish. Very delicious Lambic. Unique aroma among those. Good one.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. It smells light fruity (peaches?), a little bit sour. The small white foamy head has a normal duration, the body is pale orange. The taste is a little bit medical, light bitter. The body is light and dry with a normal carbonation.

Pour is cloudy and lite amber with a lingering white head. Aroma is tart and a little sweet. Sour and more earthy then sweet. Great beer could drink all night and not get bored with.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
2012 750 mL bottle. This is not bad for $11, but it certainly is not my favorite gueuze. Clear amber pour with a nice white head. Slight barnyard funk and lots of citrus in the nose. The taste is less complex than the nose with straight citrus acidic tartness with just a hint of rind bitterness on the finish.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Shared a 75cl bottle from Delheize (Luxembourg). Pours a hazy golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is sour with some fruity notes. Medium carbonation and medium body. Flavour is sour and bitter with a tart spicy end. Overall, is a very nice beer if one like lambics.
