4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
355ml green bottle, corked. Golden coloured, hazy. Small white head with tight bubbles, leaves just a bit of lace. Nose is sour, citrusy, yeasty, dusty. Tart, tangy start, lemon acidity, light funky yeast notes. Dry finish with tart/sour lemon attack. Effervescent, crisp mouthfeel, medium body. Very pleasant.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Corked bottle poured. Pours a light golden color with a really nice, sour apple aroma. Sweet and sour fruit flavors. A little green apple. Light. Really nice tart finish. Definitely champagne like, but very much in a good way. Enjoyed this a lot.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Aroma: citrus, a bit of sharp sourness
Appearance: golden, sparkling, frothy head at pour, light sustained head
Taste: medium bitterness, medium sourness, has a sharpness balanced between the two flavours, bitterness lingers in the aftertaste.
Palate: light body, fizzy, bitter,
Overall: the taste despite its bitterness is relatively inoffensive, not my usual choice for beer, but not bad.

3.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Golden, amber color, with a huge, froth head.
Very tart nose, lots of acidity with green apple peel and musty, leathery yeast. Somehow fruity with a complex tartness, very rich in aromas.
Lighter in body than expected, with a decent tart complexity and very high, refreshing carbonation. Carbonation somehow overlocks the acidic sourness, finishing with a dry, slick aftertaste. Lime and apple sourness hit the palate in a dry but pleasant, uncomprimising way. Requires alomst room-temperature to reveal its sour, fruity layer, but starts to get really convincing then. Still, finish is defined by metallic hints and sour brett flavors, a bit watery, then ending quite tart.

Clear golden with little to no head, almost looks like apple juice. Aroma is light, a little fruity. Flavor is dry and sweet. A little tart in the finish.

Bottle. Deep dirty yellow pour with a medium off white head. Aroma of sour apples, yeast, basement aromas, hay, and citrus notes. Easy drinking with a delayed snappy sour finish.

An easy geuze to start with. Beautiful golden colour. Sour geuze taste with a little bit of basement aromas. Very good geuze, also for those who do not know this kind of beer.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
The traditional geuze Lindemans, bearing this name since 1996. Crisp, crackling, yellowish white, strongly moussy and stable foam, golden blonde colour with orange hue, clear but misty after adding deposit. Bit subdued aroma compared to most other oude geuzes, but delicate, with the typical hints of lemon zest, hay, sulphur, wine vinegar, old sherry and fruity esters. Sourish but mellow taste, refreshing grapefruit accent, vinous mouthfeel, drying in the finish, flowery, soft acidity. Not the most agressive geuze, but certainly a delicate, refined and refreshing, honest example, in which the notorious high quality of Lindemans’ lambic comes to full glory.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Clear golden. Thin white head. Fizzy. The usual gueuze notes, but this is one for the beginner lambic lover. Not that complex.
