A golden hue sets off the wonderful almost champagne like taste.

375ml bottle poured into tulip. Pours a rather pure golden with some finger-thick head. Aroma is faint barnyard, green apples, some faint malt base and cider vinegar. Taste is really not the best I’ve had the chance to witness in a geuze or any type of sour ale, generally speaking...Very, very tart. Upon drinking it you soon notice that those green apple aromas are like...interrupted. You can perceive the apple’s tartness but then no sugar content at all...and it then fades away into not much. Mouthfeel is pretty watery with average carbo. Pretty long acidic aftertaste. Overall this is pretty weak compared to a Cantillon gueuze bio, for example, which is so way more complex...this is not "champagne" at all. I had medium-high expectations for this but it was a huge disappointment (especially at 13.99 $ a bottle at le St-Bock). I just wonder if I had a bad bottle, reading the rave reviews this brew had...

Mooie kleur met kleine schuimkraag. Mooi zurig bier, toch heel zacht. Beetje champagneachtig, heerlijk.

Appearance of rose wine with a small white head and very little lacing. Unique, funky, vinous aroma with hints of green apple, cheese, wood, lemon peel and leather. Tart, acidic flavors of dried fruit and damp cellar. Sour aftertaste. Medium bodied mouthfeel with lively carbonation and a lingering finish.

Väldigt frisk och syrlig. Härligt blommig doft och ljus grumlig. En perfekt fördrink för den som tröttnat på vin.

Slightly hazy yellow with white head. Very sour aroma with notes of marzipan and grapes. Sourness all dominent in the taste but a saltiness and the notes from the aroma gives good balance.

Konkretne wysycenie. Kapitalne piwo, zachęciło mnie do sprawdzania kwachów.
