A golden hue sets off the wonderful almost champagne like taste.

Yellow body, no real head, aroma is tart sours and a hint at some funk, flavor is citric acid and a hint at some funk, some form of a malt body even shines through on some level, this is probably the perfect level of sour to be insanely sour yet completely drinkable. very enjoyable and probably the most accessable to a sour newb who has already tried the likes of the Duchesse/Monk’s Kettle etc... very sour though, make no mistake.

Lett tåkete ferskenfarget med høyt skum som forsvinner fort. Frukt, syre og vått høy i duften. Følger i smaken sammen med et lite hint av mugg. Mye kullsyre følger inn i en tørr avslutning.

Weird concept of a cork and a normal cap over it on the bottle :D Aromas are on the gentle side; first scent is of citruses, then acidity, some gentle funk, hay, leather. Slightly more amber than golden, very clear, minimal head at first- then non-existent, white foam. medium sourness. light body, thin feel, lively carbonation, fluffy wheat feel, gentle long finish with some gentle alcohol warmth. Quite good. The taste itself is again citruses predominately, some leather, very gentle funk. Nicely drinkable, well balanced sourness and basic geuze tastes. Could have some extra aroma or taste notes.

Bottle. Struggled to get into the bottle. When I did it smells up and funky with a light acidity. Tastes mellow for the style with a juicy sourness that comes in as a finish rather than up front. It’s tart like lemon juice but smooth and slightly dry. Hints of brett flavours but would like more. Carbonation seems light but actually if you move it over the tongue you get a nice mousse. Solid and interesting and quaffable example of the style, but not as good as Cantillon.

Bottle. Off-white thick head, very lasting, leaves no lace. Aroma is funky, sour, citrus and a bit of pear. Taste is sour from start to finish and lasting in the end, citrus, bit funky and salty but too vinegary. Think this bottle hasn’t been well stored. Wasn’t as expected.
