375ml bottle. Pours a slightly hazy light gold, with a huge white head, which lasts well and leaves decent lacing. Sour, funky, musty notes mix with leather, apple skin and some oak in the aroma. A savoury, leathery flavour up front leads into an intense, refreshing sourness. A touch of oak towards the finish mixes with an almost meaty savoury flavour, with some sour lime coming through at the end. This is an unusual blend of sour and savoury flavours that nonetheless come together quite harmoniously. The sourness gives it a very refreshing feel that is just the ticket on a horribly muggy summer night.

Mostly sour, maybe some lemon but not a particularly citrusy sour. Some funk as well. I liked it.

Bottle. Golden color with dense white head. Aroma has citrus, sour elements and also some funky sweet elements. Taste is tart, sour with long quite dry aftertaste. Flavors of apple, citrus, bretta. Very fruity and tasty.

Pours clear yellow, white head quickly disappear. In aroma acidic notes, stable, citrus, lemon. In taste similar to aroma, its far more sour than normal version, tart, very dry. Low-medium body, fizzy carbonation. Well made gueze for a reasonable price. Good for start with oude guezes.

Green bottle (Bottled: LH08NGC), corked and capped. Nose is sharply tart and lightly metallic, pours rich orange-golden with heavy and noisy carbonation, big soapy white head. Taste quite sour to start, utterly bone dry, lightly metallic with lemony fruit character, a little green; lactic is a little light but of high quality and accompanies a nice bready character. A little more fruit as it warms, full and crisp body, very fresh and lively, clean; some hay revealed, wood, dash of pepper and cobweb. Sourness calms down quickly and is very easily acclimated. Champagne-like and very easy-going, classy, really gains in character with volume as the buried nuances become more apparent. I could drink this every day, with most meals. [2015.04.17: 3.7]

PS - Burps taste like strawberries!

I tried a lot of beers in my life. This beer just hit me hard right in the face with everything I haven’t tried in beer before. A lot of dry sourness and wonderful rich taste absolutelt blew my mind and left nothing more to think about. If you’re a beer geek you should give it a shot just to shock you.

Obviously Belgium Gueuze Lambic aroma: Sour, dry cherry, berries, horse stable. Golden cloudy with white fine foam. Light body, high carbonated. Taste of sour green apple and red unripe berries. Dry - very dry like vinegar, yeasty with brettanomyces (Horse stable) notes. Loooong fruity refreshing aftertaste. Overall fantastic experience, but this is not a beginners Gueuze.

0.33 bottle. Hazy, amber color and a small, white head. Aroma of herbs, spices, sour grapes, and some honey. Taste is very sour, vinous, dry, somewhat fruity. Light body, slick texture, and lively carbonation. Finish is also sour, more fruity than the general taste. Overall a good beer but I cannot say I am a huge fan of lambics.

Bottle. Pours crystal clear golden with nice white head and some lacing. Nose is nice brett funk and citrus. Earthy and wet hay. Taste is citrus sour. Sour apple. Biting sourness in the aftertaste. Nice.
