A golden hue sets off the wonderful almost champagne like taste.

Enjoyed from a 750ml bottle in a stemless wine glass. The beer pours a straw-colored yellow/golden hue, with an ample white head. The nose shows decided Brettanomyces character, along with a less aggressive level of acidity. As the sample opens up, a musty note also comes through, perhaps from the corked packaging. Together, the combination is utter and absolutely pleasing. The palate shows a lactic tart note up front, followed by some pleasing grassy/hay/farmhouse Brett character, and an absolutely bone-dry finish. The melange of pleasing flavors and aromas is outstanding. Carbonation is assertive, but not overly so, supporting the aromas and flavors, rather than detracting from them. The finish is nicely tart, leathery, and dry. Overall, an outstanding example of the style, even if it is widely available.

DWF; Bottle 375 ML. Pours small, murky golden orange with a fast fading off-white head. Nose is with green apples and berries, yeast, vinegar, barnyard and spice. Taste is moderate sweet and heavy sour, light bitter and warming spicy with a lasting, sour finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle from Delhaize in Bertrange, Luxembourg!
Pours hazy orange-yellow with soapy white head. Smell has lots of fruit (pear, apple), sugar and lambic yeast. Starts very sourish, with some lacto, lots of fruits and yeast. Fizzy carbonation! Middle part is well balanced sweet and sourish, fruity with some candy sugar. Goes into a very sour finish with apple, lambic yeast and some notes of candy sugar!

Pours a hazy orange color with a fluffy white head, that dissipates quickly. Smell of barnyard, citrus and leather. Taste is slightly sour up fruit, sweet, citrus, brett, and dough. High carb. on the palate, dry, crisp, and refreshing. Enjoyable beer. Would drink again.

Listen very carefully, I shall say this only once. Bottle. Clear copper with a large off white head. Lots of fruity notes; peach, apricot, light sour apple, grapes, some barnyard, band aid Medium body, medium sweet and light/medium sour, lively carbonation. It is a bit thin and lacks some fullness so it finishes a bit short of expectations. Still refreshing and easy drinking.

375 ml bottle from Juustukuningad (€ 4.30). Alc 5.5%. Bottled May 2014. Pours hazy translucent pale orange with massive white top. Good lacing, retains nicely. Nose is dusty-grainy lemony bittersweet and peaches, skunky. Taste lemony tartness, sour as home-made apple juice, quite sweet, white grape acidity, lots of skunkiness. Body medium, palate sticky, carbonation moderate. Overall a very enjoyable brew - so far the best Gueuze I’ve had.

750ml bottle. Clear golden orange in colour with a thin but lasting white head, excellent lacing. Aroma has a noticeable sugary sweetness upfront with some citrus, some sourness comes out if you search. Flavour is quite dry, slight acidity, more sugary sweetness, sour at times, quite a bit of citrus. Dry and tart mouthfeel, medium/light body, moderate carbonation. Finishes sweet to start turning dry and tart. This has too much sweetness for a gueuze, seems similar to the other Lindemans in turns of sweetness.

Bottle poured. Hazy golden color with large white frothy head. Crisp floral aroma with hints of citrus. Very tart and sour beer with hints of apples. The sour is quite overwhelming.
