Bottle @ home. Pours with a orange colour, medium sized rocky white head. Aroma has strong hints of leather, and hints of basement aromas and fruit; elegant. Taste is medium sweet, medium sour, slightly bitter; a bit disappointing, I have to say. Little to medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation.

250ml bottle. How it took me so long...anyway. Cool thing to think about, I’ve had this beer plenty as blends in so many other lambics. Pours a bright orange color with a small white head. A big sour woody nose. Sweet, almost sugary, rich tart wood, cherries and other tart fruits. This is solid. It is a bit on the sweet side at times, but it’s core is solid. No wonder it is so often used in other brews.

Bottle from Beergusto web shop. Orange glden color with small white head. Aroma of malt, yeast, sourness, funk. Taste starts sweet malty, yeasty, shortly overlapped by sourness with earthy notes funk. Long sour finish. Enjoyable beer.

Bottle enjoyed at home
Copper clear, white had. Smell of funk, butterscotch, berries, some burnt caramel and light malts. Moderate sweet, moderate sour, distinct taste of ascorbine acid, some fruity tendensies, not much funk. Not world class and not complex. Forgettable

Amberkleurig bier met witte schuimkraag. Neus is zurig met appelgeur. Zurig in de mond met zoetige afdronk.

Pours amber color with frothy white head. Aroma is sour, raw apple, some yeast. Taste is heavy sour but with background sweetness, raw apple again, some spicyness. Good beer if you want something different sometimes.

Bottle - deep hazy amber with a short lived fizzy white head. Aroma of malts, dust and hay. Taste of apple, pear and some light sourness with a light malty base. Some hints of lemon and honey. In all honesty it has an unfortunate taste of vomit to it. Medium body, low carbonation.

GuideDogSaint (477) - Xiamen, CHINA - NOV 12, 2014
250ml bottle from Beer Station, Xiamen. Pours hazy golden with no head. Typical gueuze aroma. Tastes sweeter than most gueuze but still a sour finish.
