Bottle, Cafe Cirio, Brussels. Very sweet tasting, hazy gold/orange colour, medium lasting head. A very funky fruity fantabulous beer.

25cl, from De Hopduvel Gent, easy to drink sweet gueuze, not complex, clear, small head, nothing special

Pours hazy dark golden color with off white head. Aroma is slightly funky and has some sweetness. Flavor is much sweeter than I was expecting and tastes similar to the pomme although not as sweet. It doesn’t have that dry, earthy funkiness like the other gueuze I have tried. Overall I liked it, but it seemed more like a fruit lambic.

Bottle. Pours a light orange with a small white head. Aroma is surprisingly sweet, almost smells like the Framboise just a little less tart. Flavor has some slight oak barrel and gueuze-like notes but overall, it was very fruity and sweet. Sort of a combination of the pomme and framboise without the tartness. Not what I was expecting (this beer compares more to the fruit lambics than it’s cousin Cuvee Rene), but still quite tasty and enjoyable!

Bottle. Hazy golden colour with a small white head. Aroma of sour fruits, taste of sour fruits with sugar. On the sweet side for a gueze.

Poursa cloudy beige hue with a small, frothy yellow head. Flavors of apple cider and apples and more apples. Not overly tart, and the yeast funk is very mellow in this one. A perfect gueuze for people that haven’t had one before I like this beer!
