Bottle (375 ml). As "Foudroyante Gueuze". Clear golden/copper with a small fully lasting white head and little lacing. Aroma is of apples, sweetness, cheesy notes and floral notes. Taste is sweet with apples, floral notes, cheesy notes and light sourness. Medium body. Good carbonation. Slightly dry finish, but there’s also sweetness in the finish. There’s definitely some potential here, but there’s way too much sweetness so it’s miles away from the best of the style.

The color is golden and nice with white medium head. Quite bubbly, the smell is like cider. The taste is also very cidrish, with very acid/citric aftertaste. Not really a beer for me )or at least not my kind of beer) but I guess it is a very good one for those who like this kind.

Sweet and fake mimic of a gueuze. Like a gueuze lemonade. Lose the sugar. Bad beer.

McWorta (558) - LUXEMBOURG - MAR 19, 2014
Deep golden/orange colour with a dark white head, no CO2, crystal clear liquid. Noses of peach, cherry stone, lightly of wet earth and touches of wood, raisin bread and sultana aromas in a harmonic way. A bit lively, lightly fruity apricot/peach sweetness building a mild texture with a light body. Light fruity sourness with sweetness all in balance. refreshing and lasting finish.

Bottle from Stockmann, Tallinn. Pours quite clear amber, nice foamy head that stays for a few minutes. Aroma is quite wine-line, some barnyard. Feels like sour lemonade, with some sweet notes. Taste reminds me some kind of dry white wine. Wild yeasts have done a nice job here with this one. As there were no fruits added, it is not so sweet as some other lambic’s I have tried. Dry, just like white-wine, having also some sort of a bitter hop edge that you can’t experience with wines. Aftertaste has some acidity, medium-length dry finish. Good and refreshing beer that does not really feel like a beer.

Bottle from the King. Bronze colored pour with instantly vanishing bubbly white head. Aroma is cidery, mild cheesy notes, floral aromas as well, very faint/absent funk. Taste is tart, green apples, a bit more funk, rotten grain, pretty sweet but not as much as the fruited Lindemans. Palate is light-medium bodied with med-strong carbonation. Far from the top gueuzes available in the market, but I found this surprisingly good.
