Bottle. Poured a clear medium orange color with a white head. Smelled of farmyard funk, light apple cider, and citrus rind. Light to medium bodied with moderate acidity. Tasted of apple cider vinegar and citrus rind with a touch of old leather hockey glove funk. Nice.

22/08/2010 - 75cl @ home Thanks to my parents for the +-30 year old bottle!
Note: no label, only Lindemans cork, so I have no reference except for my parents claiming the bottle was from around their marriage in 1980. Compared with the 30-year old De Neve Gueuze beer I’ve had, I’d say this one is probably younger, maybe 25.
Pours an amber coloured clear beer. Almost none, but a fine laced little head that disappears quickly. Smell is typical lambic with spices like pepper and some tangerine. MF: surprisingly carbonised in the first bottle! The second one was flat. Probably the cork. Taste is lambic with fruity hints of citrus, peach an apricot. Aftertaste is typical lambic, but softer than usual. Again fruitiness and some yeast. Amazing how this bottle is (probably) still very close to it’s original flavour! We’ve had 2, still 4 more bottles of the same age to go! ;-)
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Schroppfy (2319) - Łódż, Warsaw, Poland; Michigan, Ohio, USA - SEP 30, 2010
Musty aroma despite being a best before bottle dated 08, Sept 2010, thus fairly fresh. Fruity, earthy, wet musty tones in the aroma - peach and fake grape. Sweet and sour flavors, very slight oxidation, The dominant flavors are peach and apple, with a little metallic, iron part. Good. Head is minimal but there. Bought, finally, in Poland, in Łódż, at Euro-Alkohol.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Pinball (7771) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - SEP 28, 2010
cloudy red brownish, small offwh. Head that doesn’t last. 2 sweet berries aroma, also some refreshing lambic sourness. Sweetened sour beer aroma. 7 flavor is sourish, faint hoppy bitter, sour red berries, pretty nice, high drinkabillity.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 lusikka (2062) - Tampere, FINLAND - SEP 26, 2010
250 ml bottle. Rated @ 7.8.2010.
Pours a slightly hazy orange colour with a foamy white head. Aroma of mild acidness and yeast. Flavour of mild acidity with grapefruit and sugar of course. Light bodied and watery mouthfeel. Average sweetened lambic.
3.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Vaiz (1847) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - SEP 21, 2010
After a long drive through the Bourgonge region in France, I opened a bottle of this sitting next to a cornfield in a blazing hot sun, which is rather nice for early September. Nice deep orange pour, creamy just-off white head and looks like a decent amount of carbonation. Smells a bit of blue cheese and sweaty socks, something you might encounter in geuzes from time to time but it rather annoyed me here. Luckily it’s refreshing sour flavor makes up to that. Not the best geuze I’ve had by far, but given the setting, I’ll enjoy this one.
1.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20 LordCorkscrew (1737) - Ronco Scrivia (GE), ITALY - AUG 24, 2010
