Bottle. Clear medium to dark amber yellow color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is light acidic sour sweet, moderate sugar, more like a faro. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light light acidic with a average duration, and a dry finish. Body is light to medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (070408)

A clear orange beer with a nice white head, from a quite high carbonation, but the bottle has aged for some years. The aroma is nicely sour with notes of wood, oranges, and some berries. The flavor is quite sour at first, but then somehow gets a stint of sweetness with notes of oranges, wood, and mold, before the acidity gains in power again towards the end with notes of metal and vinegar. UPDATED: JUN 16, 2005 (Bottle 25 cl) Comes as "’s Lands Souvenirs du Terroir Gueuze de Bruxelles". The label says 4% ABV. Dark golden, almost amber. Filtered, but yet it appears slightly hazy. Small, light, creamy head. A "commercial" (=sweetened) gueuze, which makes up for some of the sourness. But still sharp and acidic. 25 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a diminished to lacing white head. Acidic and fruity aroma. Flavour is sweet marzipan and mellow acidic. Ends quite sweet with a little carbonation. Nice but unusual sweet.

Bottled. Hazy orange colour, mediumsized white foamy head. Aroma of hops, grass and very dry fruit. Flavour is hoppy and a bit sour. Quite watery palate, and the finish is very dry. Some bready hints also, once it becomes a bit warmer.

pale amber, clear, near no head.Arpma of apples and crystalized sugar. Sweet and juicy, still with soft mouthfeel and some depth. There is just over a hint of citric acidity. Fresh, and in good condition like this a highly refreshing drink. You can tell that somewhere under the sweetness this is actually based on quality lambic.

Draught. Cloudy amber coloured with a white head. Fruity aroma with some sweetness and notes of wood. Sweet flavour of fruits, apples and wood. Tart finish.

Bottle. 4% OK sour aroma. Dark golden colour, white head. The acidity is OK, but the flavour is way too sweet. A little mold, which suits the beer fine.

Light amber color, poor head. Odd aroma, food (beans? Bolognese sauce?); this is really a pity. Acceptable taste, light sourness but most of all a correct sweetness. Not a real Gueuze, but pleasant.

Draught. Hazy golden with tiny head. Aroma is mild sour with wood, grapefruit and hay. Flavor is sweet and mild sour mild barnyardy and grapefruit notes.
