Bottle at home, labeled "foudroyante" with Lindemans listed as the brewer and bottler. Pours a clear dark amber with plenty of fizz, reminiscent of champagne. Slight bite of sourness on the nose, but quite thin on the mouth. Savory tastes of yeast and slight funk, but not strong by any means. Decent entry-level gueuze, I’d say.

Pours almost clear golden amber color with a small white bubbly head. Nose is tart fruit, citrus, dried peaches, some oak. Flavour is way too sweet! Tart appels, some hay, some malts but the rest is straight sweetness.

25 cl. bottle poured in to a Flute. Clear, golden colour with an amber tint. Thin, white head. Tart aroma with wheat malts, dusty hops, sugars, wooden notes, light barnyard and lemons. Taste is light sour. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes slightly acidic with lemons, subtle wooden notes. This is by far the sweetest Gueuze I had. It borders a Faro. I prefer more acidic, less sweet Gueuze.

Flaska från Saveur Biére. Smak och doft av plommon, äppeljuice, jäst, socker med svaga toner av körsbär. Lätt syrlighet, stor sötma och fin beska.

Bottle named as foudroyante gueuze from carrefour, Soissons, France. Amber beer with small head. Aroma is light barnyard and a little caramel. Taste is a touch sweet, some caramel, stewed grapes and some malts. Good carbonation producing a fizz in the tongue. Decent.

25cl bottle at Lobbes, Amersfoort. Dark orange / golden with a small white head. Light to medium body with quite some carbonation. Nice sourness with some sweet and bitter tones. Green apple, some peach, grapes, lemon, caramel, vinegar and herbs. A nice gueuze.

250 ml bottle, clear gold color with small white head. smells like grapes and sour inside something similar to cheep champagne, taste are medium sour with some kind of grapes sweetness and a little wheat. i like the mix of sour and sweet grapes in this beer, so far its not similar too any others. the aftertaste is surprisingly long the medium sour grape with hidden wheat sweetness and dry finish in the end.

375ml bottle into glass. Bottle has crown seal AND cork. Sweet caramel malt nose, hazy golden beer with thin white head. Fruit juice sweet, surprising! Like grapefruit juice with a malt background. So the gueuze (hops) in this are a background not the main story. Easy drinking but WAY sweet.

Maakun (1156) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - MAR 21, 2015
Bottle at home. Dark golden to light brown, with small bubbly white head. Sweet grains and nuts, but old and musty ones. Sour green apple, apricots and peach, quite some lemon too. Taste is medium sweet with above medium sourness. Medium bodied with slight sticky feel. Nice beer, slightly too sweet and not dry enough, but nice enough for the price.
