Bottle. Poured cloudy golden color with a thin head. Vinegar in the aroma. Sour, a little barnyard funk but not overpowering. A nice lambic to try if you’ve never had one before.

375 ml bottle shared. Yello color pretty clear with a thick white head. Aromas of fruits, some lemon, some white wine. Taste of white wine, sour, spoiled fruits like lemon and orange. Sour aftertaste. Light body with medium to full carbonation.

First gueuze I ever drank, but I suppose it is not what this style is intended to convey. The taste is a bit as if the beer is rotten, but this rottenness is represented by dominant sweetness of apple juice compounded by vinegar, which overall is not very tasty. The texture is like wine.

Why did somebody put some apple juice and simple syrup in my gueuze? Definitely not the best of this style.

250ml bottle Appeareance: Clear Aroma:Sweet applejuice meets vinegar. Taste: Quite sweet malts, befor some vinegar notes pour true and the it finishes without complexity. Medium body, sticky texture and average natural carbonation in palate. Better stick to the Cuvée René if you want to have a Lindemans Geuze. Or one of there Fruity beers. Which are more tart and more complex as this. This was simpley bad., Geuze meets alcoPop.

250mL bottle, pours a hazy amber orange with a large white head. Aroma is vinegary, with notes of sweetness and fruity notes - obviously not authentic at all. Flavour is fairly vinegary, with lots of sweetness and candied notes. Sweet and vinegary with no funk or any complexity at all. Not good at all.

The aroma is of ripe fruits, reminiscent of plum wine. Pours darkish orange with a small, quickly dissipating head. Sour, a citrusy kind of sourness that put the kind of look on my face I must have had when I tasted lemon for the first time as a kid; very little sweetness in the background and no bitterness whatsoever. The body is medium, the carbonation soft, and the finish lemony sour. It’s not too bad far as drinks for a hot day go; it’s just, well, a very Belgian interpretation of the concept of beer.

Hazy gold beer, small white head. Light crisp palate, semi dry. Light lemony sourness and floral notes. The beer turns a lot sweeter, getting Faro like. Touch of generic fruits. Light finish.
