3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. First lambic/geuze ever. Bottle states 5% alcohol instead of the four percent mentioned here. Pours hazy dark golden, bronze even. Little yeast residue. Tiny head that disappears in seconds. Aroma of champagne, unripe red fruits and sour. Taste caught me off guard, but within a minute I got accustomed to the taste and boy itís good. Hits the palate exactly like champagne. Then, unripe fruits, sourness, dryness and some sweetness comes in. Plenty of carbonation and oily. Very refreshing. Aftertaste is long. Dry and sour. Some sweet and sour remain for a long time and induces excessive saliva build-up. This is a style Iíd like to explore.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
250ml bottle served in a chalice.
A: Pours an orange clear color forming a small white to yellow head. Small retention and only very few lacings left. Some particles can be seen floating around. A nice looking beer
S: Very fruity as expected. Quite sweet and bready too. Sweet grains. Some tartiness can be felt in the nose. No hops
T: Sweet upfront. Sweet grains and fruits. Apples, mainly. A metallic and rusty taste. A mild acid taste, in overall. No hoppy bitterness. Intense lambic yeasts
M: Light body. Intense fizzy carbonation. Sour aftertaste
O: Good drinkability. A very easy Gueuze. Much more sweet and less tarty than the classic Gueuzes but still a pleasant Belgian beer

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
"i gotta say, i think Lindemans forte is the fruit flavors. having this one on itís own, it was a bit of a letdown. Iím a fan of sours, but this was just wasnít anything special. A little sour/rotten apple quality, a little sweet, and too much carbonation, which was offset by the lack of a pleasant fruit aroma. I think Iím only a fan of top-of-the-line Geuezeís, and this one is just average..."

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
DAA; Bottle 37, 5cl. Double corked, interesting. Pours clear dark golden with a fast fading, still lacing, off-white head. Nose fills with mould and cellar, sour, hay, fruit and spice. Taste is moderate to heavy sweet, sour, light bitter and warming with a short to moderate lasting, sour finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Aroma of sour fruits, sugar, white wine, light oak notes, slight funk. Flavour is sugary sweet and fruity sour. Okay, but I wish this was more sour and less sweet.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at Eulogy. Clear medium amber pour that started with a large fluffy white head. Bit more sweet than sour. Berries and amber fruits. Plums. Strawberries. Apricots. Nectarines. Sour cherries. Duck sauce. Feels somewhat too syrupy and medicinal. Missing the unique funk and complexity found in the best gueuzes.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Clear gold, fluffy white head that retains well. Appetising although simplistic for style aromas based around lemon juice, Apple, stewed rhubarb and and a slight underpinning of oak. Only moderate sourness to begin, followed by sweet mid palate and finish. Apple, pear, rhubarb and some oak influence. Good carbonation. Enjoyable, but it doesn't have that mouth pucker in sourness or a multilayered complexity of flavour that a quality gueuze has.
