3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle 375ml. Aged 18 months piror to tasting. Poured cloudy golden with a large, foamy, off-white head which was mostly lasting. Strong notes of funky wild yeast in the aroma with barnyard notes, forest floor notes, wet grain, lemon juice, lemon zest and vitamin C. Flavor was of acidic fruit with sour grain, wild yeast, moss, barnyard notes, petrified wood, tart green grape skins and cumquats. Medium bodied with medium carbonation, a dry/tart mouthfeel and a good length finish.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Frothy, puffy, beautiful white head. Light orange colour, clear. Aromas are winey, oak, tart apples, hay. Taste is delightfully tart, but also quite sweet, like biting into an apple. The mouthfeel is champagne-like; light and sparkly. Great gueuze.

Burnt orange in colour. Very small cream head with a sour nose. Sweet and sour taste, quite sharp and lovely!

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Deep amber colour with minimal white head. Has a fruity, vinegary armoma. Taste: again vinegary, some apple, reminds me of white wine. Medium to high carbonation, thin body. Sour finish, with a bit of bitterness.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Lindemans’ sweetened ’geuze’ with deep amber colour and medium, yellowish white head; fruity, not too complex aroma, a bit artificial and sugary, apple, peach, faint dusty and sourish hints of lambic but sweetness prevails, with a somewhat artificial, lemony sourishness for balance; yet the finish is thin, sweet and a bit sticky. Perhaps a bit better than its Belle-Vue or Timmermans counterparts, but nowhere near a ’real’ geuze. I’m wondering if there is still a market for these compromized ’bastard’ geuzes?

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Too sweet as for gueuze and too less sour. Sour-apple aroma. Amber colour with no foam.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
A hazy, light copper coloured beer with a weak white head. A fruity aroma, apple, lime and peach, a little bit like "babycham" only much better! A dry mouthfeel. A tart fruity flavour, lime, apple and peach again, but there is an additional woodiness. The finish is long and sour.

Pleasant I thought, great rosy cloudy pink, fruity, bit sherbet like, slightly sour, tad thin, good for a summers day on the beach mostly
