head, which lasts fairly well, and leaves reasonable lacing. Funky sourness in the aroma is offset by sweeter, fruity raspberry notes. Lemon sourness up front gives way to a sweeter raspberry flavour. Grainy malt and a more reserved sour flavour come into the mid-palate, with leather and a woody sour flavour in the finish. This is not the most complex gueuze around, but it does have a decent balance between sour and sweet flavours, and is both easy to drink and quite enjoyable.

Bottle 0.375 l. Aroma: sour, hay, fruit and apple, wet tanned skin. Taste: dry acidity, like a brut, lively carbonation, malt and wheat, oak and slightly bitter grapefruit tones, hay.

Geuze non troppo esagerata dal buon equilibrio al gusto, acidula certo ma tratti anche vinosa. Ottima fattura ---Rated BY Italianbeer85

small MF bottle, only 25cl, pours clear copper with minimal white head. Aroma of wood and lots of sours. Tast of light sweetness, lightly bitter, some fruits, sour however somewhat limited in complexity, and slightly metalic, tart, too much vinegar for my taste, and also too sweet,

Picked a nice warm day to drink this one. A little apple flavors (in a good way) and that nice tartness these beers have. Wonderful Bottle from De Zwart in Wilnis

750ml bottle, 06/03/2015, Pours a dark golden amber, thin white head dies to an oily hazy on the surface. Aroma of lemon, crisp apple, pale sour malts, soggy cereal, mild sweetness and hint of mustiness creeping through the finish. Taste initially fruity, apple and citrus, sweet lemon turning tart, sour malts, more traditional lambic quality coming again in the finish. Light, slick body. It is what it is.

250 ml bottle from Seijo Ishi in Shinjuku station. Poured into a snifter. Pours a clear orange gold with a small head and fine bubbles. Muscat and wood on the nose with some vanilla and cream as well. Average carbonation. Slightly creamy mouthfeel. Taste starts out sweet with a tartness playing in the background. Fruit is there for sure: muscat, orange, berry, and some cherry but a little too sweet for the style. Dry finish that has some tartness.

Bottle shared with CF at Stuelands Abothek 29.05.15. Hazy golden. Off-white head. Sourness, sour tropical fruits, green grapes and Sevilla oranges in aroma. Similar taste. Good drinkability.

Filtered, back sweetened. Golden, quickly diminishing white foam. Excellent clarity. Smells mildly skunk, plenty of cigarette ash, some tart. Flavor is sweet and sour, but less so compared to the Faro of the same brand. Thin with light carb. Meh.

Helder levendig lichtbruin bier met schuim. Smaak is droog en lichtzuur met ook iets van zoet en fruit, appel en grapefruit. Er zijn betere Geuzes naar mijn mening.
