Very little aroma, deep tan color, little head.. apple/grape and fairly cidery, slightly sour, not the best gueuze I’ve had, but still a nice beer.

Bottle from Alko. Amber color, white head. Sweet & sour taste with strawberry, honey, grass and grape. Very sour finish. Splendid gueuze.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 deigote (19) - Madrid, SPAIN - MAY 24, 2012
As Foudroyante Gueuze. Pours amber, bit cloudy with quite lasting (given the style) crispy head. The aroma is fruity sweetness, green apples, cider alike, with bit vinegar sourness. So is the flavour, a bit on the sweet side for me, but still drinkable and refreshing. Good and cheaper than the style beasts :-). 3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 BlackHaddock (1709) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAY 10, 2012
Oct 2007 from BA: Green 37.5cl bottle with a bright orange foil covering over the neck, dark and orange labels front and rear. Corked below the bottle top.
Poured into a Hougaerdse DAS tumbler.
Looks like a fizzy cider, amber with a small but solid white head, contsantly being replaced by the carbonisation below in the liquid.
Cooking apples aroma with the sugar already added and the mix is boiling. The appley aroma gets weaker as the beer warms, more subtle smells appear, sour notes, hops and yeast.
A lot sweeter than most Gueuze I have tried, which isn’t a huge number. The apple aroma comes into the taste too, as do citric flavours, grapefruit and lemons, but not overly sour.
Tanginess of the citrus stays in the mouth and it is a fairly long stay, but there is an underlaying sweetness which for me takes away the normal Gueuze experience.
I have a feeling this has been produced for the mass market and is a not a Gueuze in the true sence of the style, drinkable without a doubt, but a long way from the sour, bitter old style Gueuze I like to think I can remember.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Scopey (1678) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 1, 2012
Bottle from Beers of Europe. It pours deep amber, with a thin foamy white head. The nose is farmyard, TCP, sulphur, rotten leaves, ginger and a hint of vinegar. The taste is caramel, tangy, farmyard, pear, apple, melon and a bit of citrus pith, with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Overall it’s sweet-sour instead of tart as I would like from a lambic. Well below average for this style.

Buona gueze ma sinceramente preferisco la mort subite! In ogni caso ottima come aperitivo!

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 tkrjukoff (2689) - SWEDEN - MAR 30, 2012
Botle 25 cl Berthom. Pours deep darker amber with a nice beige head leaving some lace. Aroma is sweet sour, slightly stable, very fruity, floral and acidy. Flavor is pleasant, nicely sour and sweet with good fruityness, bitterness coming out in the middle and a bit cellar and lemon juice towards the end. Finishes fruity bitter sour.
2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 callmemickey (801) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 28, 2012
Hazy orange/amber body. Medium sized off white head. Lemon citric nose with a strong sugary-vinegary quality. Lemons, apple vinegar and a little oak. Moderately acidic with an off-putting artificial sweetness. There is no reason to buy this "geuze."
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 suprchunk (1065) - Heinsberg, GERMANY - MAR 14, 2012
Hazy straw/gold color. Nice sized white head that fades quickly and leaves behind a slight bit of lacing. Peachy sour aroma. Some funky brett and straw. Nice, pleasant sour earthy taste. Finishes tart, but with a bit of sweetness. Not bad at all.
