UPDATED: JUL 26, 2012 From a little plastic barrel at Kronieksken in Liedekercke. About halfway through my 750ml of Girardin Black Label, and a good bit of talk about Lambic the owner of the place said he had a little something for me & brought out a wine glass telling me it was Jonge Lambic from Lindemans. He said a customer had ordered it & that it turned out to be not what he wanted, as he pointed at one of those little barrel (growlers to go). I got the impression he intended to just drink it himself but was kind enough to let me have a little.
Pours basically still with a hazy golden color.
The aroma is lemony with a pretty yogurt-y smell, somewhat sweet and salty smelling as well.
The flavor is lemony and earthy, lightly sweet & a little bit grainy.
Simply but very enjoyable jonge lambic.

Sweet citrus blossoms with sweet candy on the nose. Pours light gold, still no carbonation. Very earthy and dry with a building tartness. Not bad.

UPDATED: FEB 10, 2013 @GBF 2011 – poured from an emptied, glass water bottle (certainly a first for me): hazy orange with no head, smell is lots of funky peach & some horse blanket, taste is lots of slightly tart peaches & lots of lactic bacteria, slightly tart aftertaste, horse blanket, more or less flat, great stuff /// upped the score for this one from 4.4 to 4.6 - not because I retried it but quite a few lambic latter, I still remember this as being one of the fines pure lambic’s I have had so far

Draught at the Weekend of Spontaneous Fermentation. Cloudy variegated golden color. Aroma of pear and subtle vanilla. Taste is very dry, very sour, sweaty feet, cobwebs, attic, horse. Neat stuff.
2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 Scopey (3229) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 3, 2011
Tap at the 20th Weekend of Spontaneous Fermentation. It pours very hazy golden yellow, with no head or carbonation. The nose is ginger, wheat, bread, farmyard, smoked ham and smoked cheese. The taste is weak lemon, wheat, cat piss, and weak grapefruit, with a weird spicy finish. The only beer of the fest that I couldn’t finish and also induces headaches.

(draught) pours a hazy golden colour with no head. aroma mostly of lemons, with a light bretty funkiness, some gouda cheese and sweatsocks. flavour is the same, striking a nice balance between the citric tartness and the funk, with lots of mild cheese, quite mild overall. medium-bodied with no carbonation.
