Pours dark red with a small pink head. Aroma is sweet and sour cherries not much else.
Flavor is sweet cherries, with a hint of marzipan. A little tartness comes through but the aftertaste is a little to sweet unfortunately.

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 24, 2009 Bottle poured into a pilsner style glass. Poured a deep rose color with a decent sized pink head that dissipated fairly quickly. Strong, deep cheery flavoring with a slight beer like flavor. Reminded me of a cherry Jolly Rancher candy. Very good and rich. Probably couldn’t drink more than one though... too sweet. spikester (602), Salem, Oregon, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 21, 2009 Pours a rich dark red with a three finger pink head and copious lacings. Aroma is very potent black cherry. Taste is like the most delicious black cherry soda you can imagine. The flavor is very full and sweet and it is hard to believe this has any alcohol at all. Easy drinker with no faults but doesn’t taste much like beer at all. Excellent desert choice IMO and not one to swill. Sip it with a meal and enjoy those immense flavors. altonbrownd (1888), Amsterdam, Netherlands

Delicious appearance, like the aroma with sourish cherries. Smooth mouthfeel with a nice tart of lambics and cherries, fine sweet fruity tastes. Fine and balanced sweet-tart finish and aftertaste. berkshirejohn (1796), Bracknell, Berkshire, England
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Feb 9, 2009 37.5cl bottle from Asda, Andover at 3.5% ABV. Unsurprisingly cerise in colour with a fast fading pink head, and a gorgeous sour cherry aroma. Full of sweet cherry flavours, but also tart and with a sudden sharp underlying bitterness. The finish ends up way to sweet though, like cherry soda.
