Appearance is bright red with a thin pink head of foam. Aroma is a lot like cherry cough syrup with a slight bretty persuasion. Taste is sour cherry candies with a finish reminiscent of feet. Spritzy carbonation and a light mouthfeel make this beer quite girly. Almost like drinking one of those frozen mixed drinks you see girls going crazy over.

A striking deep red beer with light red foamy head and an aroma of sweet and sour cherries emanating from the glass. The taste is most definitely cherries with the lactic yeast flavour more of an afterthought due to the sweetening sugar added. Very little malt or hops character, teh fruit and yeast are in charge here. Sour finish with cherries prevailing.

Lindemans Kriek is a fruit lambic like a fruit lambic is supposed to be. Colourful, loads of fruity aroma’s and an overwhelming taste of cherry and sugar. Really sweet and good enjoyable. Best presented in it’s flute glass and best served chilled."

A: The pour is a deep ruby red with a short lived pink head, about a finger high. S: Sweet cherry candy on the nose with a little bit of a cherry cough drop sort of flavor. Not the menthol kind, but more of the sweet Ludens sort of cough drop. T: The flavor is sweet, too. Tons of cherry flavor, which is nice, but after awhile it becomes far too sweet. A bit of the cherry cough drop flavor to it and lots of sugar/candy sort of flavor. M: Medium in body with a low to medium carbonation. O: Sort of a guilty pleasure, but at the same time, it’s a bit too sweet to drink a ton of.

Bottle. Deep red with a lasting pink head. Aroma of cherries and children’s medication (usually that’s cherry flavoured here), a little sour wheat. Taste is sweet with a very little drying sourness, some almonds. The cherries taste less artificial than they smell until a clear taste of artificial sugar rings out at the end. I don’t mind the sweetness and I’m no purity zealot but it’s nasty. That aside it’s OK but the lambic’s pretty buried.

An odd cardboard and cherry scent like you’re smelling a box of cherry flavoured candy. Not too horribly sweet.

Aroma is strong and malty with a firm, sweet overtone of black cherry. I love cherries! It pours a dark, slightly hazy mahogany with a definite black-cherry black/purple/red tinge; tan head is tinged in purplish red and doesn’t stick around too long. Flavor is mainly sweet and fruity, mostly black cherry, with a sour undertone and a bit of malt. Lively, fizzy texture leaves a fairly persistent tingle and a fruity sweet and subtly sour finish
