Not a bad kriek, but a clumsy, inelegant one. Looks nice, dark ruby red with a large head. Aroma of heavy but artificial cherry notes and an almost washing up detergent background. Smoother cherry flavour, but it doens’t taste natural, too sweet, no lambic complexities evident, no real tartness.

750 ml bottle. Pours a dark strawberry red with a creamy pink head. Big jolly rancher sweetness. Lots of fruit flavors but mainly cherry and a bit of apple, finishing up slightly tart. A light, well carbonated body that is just a tad sticky. This strikes me as almost lemonadey. Enjoyable!

Clear red with a pink head. Aroma is sweet and artificial cherries. Flavor is very sweet and moderate acidic. Fairly dry and acidic finish. The artificial cherries are very dominating and it’s much too sweet. 200110

Cloudy cherry red color. Excellent cherry aroma and taste. Barnyard Brett aroma and taste was very modest. Thin body.

UPDATED: MAR 16, 2011 bottle@home: sweet cherries, syrup, very dominant cherries, sugar sweet, full flavoured, very minor sourness at the end, a bit like greatest juice ever /// draft: even more juice-like on tap, wonderful, full sweet cherries, like it even more on tap, very smooth, sweet but not to sweet, just a tiny hint of sour/funk at the end
