Appearance: Pours intensively bright and lively red, cherry colour of the body, texture is a bit hazy, carbonation is visually moderate but it is hard to see it due to red colour intensivity of the body. Head is off - white with red shade, there is medium lacing.
Aroma: Juicy and refreshing, natural extracted cherry juice, again characteristic accidity for a Lambic style, reminding a bit a green accidic unripe apple. Aroma is intensive but focused only on its cherry fruityness, neither hoppy nor yeasty, nor malty or wheaty accents.
Flavour: Front is very candy sweet, quite surprising sweetness, medium becomes fresh, strongly effervescent and sweetness gives slowly its place to accidity from the Lambic base of a brew, aftertaste is accidic quite strongly, finally there is a shade of grainy taste in the background. Finish duration is medium to long.
Palate: Body is medium, texture is well balanced between accidity and sweetness, interesting, carbonation on palate is livley, finish feel is sticky.

Like other raters claim, it does smell and taste like "Luden’s" cough drops! Very uncharacteristic of any beer I’ve tasted, thus far. Deep ruby pour with a pinkish medium head. Very sweet initial and finish with cherry following the whole way. Great Lambic!

Certainly smelled great, and one of those fruit beers that tastes like it smells. Crushed this with Honkeybra and other assorted honkeys. General consensus: tastes like Luden’s Cough Drops.

25cl, from De Hopduvel Gent, easy to drink sweet kriek, hazy, good head, nice brew, but too sweet

(Belgium) Pours a deep red color with a foamy pink head. The aroma is of cherries and or cranberries !! Reminds me very much of Ludens wild cherry cough drops. The taste is much of the same but very sweet. The finish is find of dry, But to my suprise i like it.

Pours a deep burgundy with a light pink head and a fair amount of carbonation. Mouth is full bodied and syrupy, like a cherry ginger ale. Taste is of cherries and grapes with very little malt and yeast character. Reminds me of Boone’s Cherry Wine. I enjoy a fruit beer now and again but this one is just too sweet for me.

Ruby liquid topped with pink foam. Smells of cherries and a bit of wheat. Taste is all cherry, reminds me of cough drops, cherry flavor is robust but not very complex.. Missing that sour lambic character.
