Bottle. Red color with a small pink head. Aroma of cherries with some hints of sourness. Taste, pretty the same. Too sweet for me, but drinkable.

UPDATED: JAN 2, 2012 Bottle (750ml) from the Met split w Erica at her apt. Pours a garnet color with a frothy, patchy, clumpy, uneven pink head. Nice-looking. Aroma is wild fruit and I think a little touch of yeast. Tastes of very sweet and tart cherries/strawberry. Not sour or acidic, but very tart and sugary, which makes it mouth-puckering in a different way. Rich flavor, smooth drinking. Very good.

750 ml bottle. Pours ruby red with a thick pinkish-purple head that leaves lace. Aroma is strong in cherry--I get some maraschino even. Taste starts out a little sweet before quickly turning sour and acidic. Tasty lambic.

Dark red color with fine almost pink head. Sweet cherry, marzipan aroma. Flavor is very sweet and again with cherrys.

Usually not a fan of kriek beers but this is actually quite good. Nice balance of sweet and sour. Bottle from De Bierwinkel in Leiden.

Deep garnet colored pour. Small pink head and no lacing to speak of. Big cough drop cherry smell. Tastes the same. A little bit of sourness mixed with a sweet taste. A sweet cherry flavored drink. Nice, easy drinking without too many foulness. A bit too sweet, but overall a nice change.

Pours a reddish purple that reminds me of pomegranates. Thin pink head with traces of lacing. The aroma smells like nibs to me. You know the small red candy? Definitely. Smells good though. Dark cherries to be specific. The taste is again similar to liquid nibs. Very tart and sour at first with some dark cherries and sweetness in the middle, back to tart and sour for the finish. Quite carbonated but very agreeable for the style. This was a very tasty lambic.

Pours a very cloudy reddish cherry with thin frothy pink tinged head that quickly dissipates. Aroma is cherry and bubblegum. Flavor is earthy, a mix of cherry with earthy cereal undertones. Body is light with active carbonation.
