A clear red colored beer, with a thick pink head. The aroma of sweet cherries with a little sour. The taste is fruity of a lot a cherries with a little sour and hints of wood. The aftertaste is sweet and a touch of sour.

Bottle. Pours red with a thin pink head. Fruity sweet cherry aroma and flavor, with an underlying woody tartness. The "real" lambic character is light at best. Still a pretty good fruity beer though.

Gorgeous pink/purple hue with a pink head.
Smells a bit metallic straight after the pour. Aside from this, nice aromas of cherries and hops, belgian yeast. A hint of acid.
Really strong flavours! A mouth-puckering tartness from the cherries, with sour acid and a bit of horse-blanket mustiness. Tastes like a real kriek, though not sure if it has real cherries or just the flavour. These flavours are so strong and awesome. And the funkiness - it’s like an ecosystem in my mouth. More please.

odgaard (365) - Skyum, Thisted, DENMARK - JUL 1, 2010
Dark red color with a small lasting pink head. Aroma: cherry, acid and also a little of the typical aromas from labic, basement etc. Taste: cherry, acid, sweetness. Maybe a little too sweet, but quite refreshing.

Pours a deep ruby red color with pink head. Taste is fairly sweet for a lambic...well fairly sweet for any beer but not over the top either. Mostly a carbonated cherry juice type flavor with a little bit of tartness to keep things in check. Not a bad beer overall.

Best beer, lifetime (as reviewed some years ago). Still true today. The tart-sweet of cherries is itself a study in balance. Put it in the mix, ferment lambic-style, bottle it. Result=perfection? Well, something darned close!

From the bottle, pours an opaque maroon with a thick foamy reddish head. Aroma is all cherry, and it really tastes like cherry fruit punch. It’s a very flavorful beer, great for pairing with cheese and sausage.

Bottle okay, beer in the glass deep red, very zippy, huge head. Starts very fruity and sweet, but not too much. Finish more sourish, well balanced. Quite drinkable and not bad!
