Had with James. Pours a dark red. Little head. So fruity in the nose and flaver. Like a tasty cherry cough drop. Easy to drink but low alcohol.

UPDATED: MAY 1, 2010 Bottle, 25cl. Pours a clear violet colour wuth a small, pink head. Aroma is all cherry, very sweet. Taste is just as sweet, yet hides a subtle sour finish. Much too sweet for my taste. Guess fruit lambics aren’t really my thing.

12 oz. bottle. Looks very similar to the framboise, velvet purple head on a deep ruby red body. Aroma of cherry, with a slight cherry syrup aspect to it, like the aroma of genuine good cherries but also with a hint of the syrup that comes in bottled cherries for ice cream. This is not present in the taste, however, which is just deep cherry juice with a noticeable tartness. In some ways the tartness almost seems to dominate the cherry a bit, it actually doesn’t taste that different from the framboise.

Bottle at home. Pours a hazy purple with a thin pink head. Aroma of loads of cherries, a hint of artificial cherries, but mostly pure delicious cherries. Flavor is very delicate, well balanced and quite lovely. A good mix between sweet and sour with an intense and clean cherry flavor. Slightly more towards the acidic side in the finish. Low carbonation and a watery to syrupy texture. Very nice for a fruit lambic.

750ML bottle poured into a Lindeman’s lambic glass. Pours a ruby red color with a light rose pink head. The carbonation is champagne like. It has a strong cherry aroma that smells a little like cherry cough drops. The immediate taste is sweet cherry followed by a strong sour cherry taste. I like this beer a lot but couldn’t drink too many of these at a time. This makes me want to try more lambics.

Pours red/magenta with a big, pink head. Nose is cherry flavored cough syrup, gummy life savers, and spices like mulled wine. Taste starts with cherry tang leading to fruity sweetness with some tartness on the swallow and some light, lingering mustiness.

Shared w/ SkyCop32. Picked up at Maruhn. Pours a deep red with aromas of sour, light cherries. The body was medium and was sour, tart. Cherries seeped through enough and it was smoothe and easy.
