Roffe (10), Göteborg, Sweden Dec 11, 2007 Nice kreik. Went to Luxemburg and got it in bottle. Nice Pink head while it last and nice full cerry flavor. sinkr (212), Lusby, Maryland, USA Dec 7, 2007 Very sweet, cherry-ish flavored, pours no head, leaves a thin ring of bubbles around the rim. The color is nice and does justice to a beverage based on cherries. Not an everyday beverage, but definitely great around the holidays. Definitely can get some people in trouble w/ the fact that it doesn’t really taste alcoholic. smartlung (154), Valrico, Florida, USA Dec 4, 2007 Again typically sweet Linemans dominated by sweet cherries and limited alcohol taste. corby112 (679), philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Nov 29, 2007 Pours a deep cherry red with a pink rosy head. Smells very sweet with a strong cherry presence. Based on the appearance and aroma of this beer I was not very optimistic, but once I tried it I was pleasntly surprised. The sourness of the lambic balanced out the sweetness of the cherries perfectly and vie versa. I now have a new appreciation for blended lambics. Hazmatt (363), Virginia, USA Nov 25, 2007 Bottle. 2006. Deep red/burgundy color with pink head. An aroma dominated by cherry, hints of sourness and apple squeak through. The flavor is sweet up front, with a slight cooked taste and finishing with a sour tartness that makes you thirsty for more. Very good. Hard to believe this is beer, but I could see myself drinking this for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Same as framboise only cherry! jmm1 (108), Andorra Nov 25, 2007 From bottle. Bright and hazy red body with a lasting pink head. Strong cherry aromas that can be perceived from a distance. Cherry also in the mouth with a sweet and sour finish. Strong carbonation makes it a great refreshing beer. Great beer in its style f351c4v (404), Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, USA Nov 23, 2007 Pours a nice red hue, with a lasting, pinkish head. Flute glass is loaded with natural carbonation. Sweet cherry aroma, mild funkiness. Body is dominated by sweetness, although the cherries do shine through. Tart start, dry, sour finish. glennmastrange (810), hobe sound, Florida, USA Nov 17, 2007 Bottle. Aromas of hay, cookie, cherry, grain and medicine. Head is a fizzy/frothy pink, with a little lacing and is mostly lasting. Flavor starts tart but really sour, but it finishes lightly acidic, bitter and sour. Palate is light, watery, with fizzy carbonation and has a slightly drying finish. Not a big fan of the style, but it was not unpleasant. It was hard to get over the cherry cough drop taste though.
