Very dark red. Fizzy pink head. Huge waft of apple, then cherry, then perfume. Absolutely enormous. Slightly schizophrenic taste. Very cherry on one hand, with a good rich malty body on the other. Likewise, a slight sourness on one hand and a soapy perfume on the other. The two sides don’t really meet. Kept thinking "is this beer?". Gluggable. A good learner kriek for those that don’t want to be shocked by the seriousness that some achieve. fro2218 (466), Atlanta, Georgia, USA

Smells like artificial cherry flavoring, like you would find in children’s candy. Taste is closer to cough medicine. Way too sweet for me, give me real Kriek, not candy. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 2, 2007 Delicious lambic. My only problem with it is the fact that after I opened it it blew up and sprayed everywhere. The run across my new light colored carpet felt like forever and I lost half the bottle on the way. Nice strong cherry aroma. Pour was a dark red with a huge 3 finger off white head. Taste was sweet and refreshing. Sweet cherry and medium carbonation. Great. douglas88 (1576), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 10/20 | Sep 22, 2007 Bottle. Pours an amazing red with a pinkish head that stays. The dominant taste is cherry and tartness. A real experience, while it shares a lot with wine coolers, the underlying taste and body is distinctly beer. Good. Acknud (772), Morganfield, Kentucky, USA
