Svesse (2601), Hässelby, Sweden Jul 11, 2007 (Draught at Hörnan Belgobar, Stockholm) Dark red colour with frothy pink head. Fruity nose with clean and fresh cherry notes and hints of almond. Fruity taste with sweet cherry notes and hints of almond. Ok, it is a bit too sweet and not very traditional, but still, served cold on a warm summer day, it really is quite nice and refreshing. JAF737300 (791), Tampa, Florida, USA Jul 11, 2007 Poured brown/red and offered a nose of cherries and yeast. It tasted like deep sweet cherries with a silky smoothness to the sugary aspect. The finish was long and sweet. yespr (11649), Copenhagen O, Denmark Jul 9, 2007 25 cL bottle (Souvenirs du Terroir Kriek (s Lands Souvenirs Kriek 3.5% ABV)). Pours dark brown with a red hue and a creamy light brown/pink head. Clear cherry flavoured with a little apple sourness. Flavour is sweet cherries with a peppery twist. Lovely sweet sour. Sweet sour finish. Simple kriek, nice. pubbe (493), Højbjerg, Denmark Jul 7, 2007 Bottle. Red colour with mostly deminishing reddish head. Aroma has cherries, some hops and a little yeasty note. Aroma seems sweet´n sour. Almost astrigent fruit acids along with sweetness in the flavor. Lasting finish. Échantillon, soirée lambic et gueuze animé par Philippe Wouters à L’autre oeil, savourée le 21 mars 2007; oeil : cerise, pas d’effervescence, claire, petite mousse beige; nez : cerise, acide de la cerise, fruitée, sucrée, léger malt; bouche : acide, aigre, cerise, texture mousseuse, sucrée de la cerise, finale en sucre puis recouvert de cerise, corps moyen, peu carbonatée, plutôt sucrée, légèrement acide jarlbartar (88), Janesville, Wisconsin, USA Jul 6, 2007 A very strong aroma of cherries and other fruits. Poured ruby red with a nice head that disapeared almost immediately. VERY strong taste of cherries and alcohol undertones. This being the only lambic I have tried, I don’t know how fair a review I can give it. Good only in small serings - ie. don’t drink the whole bottle in one sitting! gsmitty80 (630), Washington DC, USA Jul 5, 2007 Very thick beer with little to no head. Tastes of strong fruit and light alcohol. Basic generic rating (insert fruit flavor here). Retro42 (18), St Paul, Minnesota, USA Jul 1, 2007 Smelled like cherries, almost to the point of "Starburst" or other candy. Red color suits it well. Very sweet cherry that leaves a thick syrupy taste on your tongue. I could see having it after dinner but it’s nothing too notable.
