3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 MeisterBrew (138) - Cheyenne, Wyoming, USA - FEB 24, 2009
Bottle poured into a pilsner style glass. Poured a deep rose color with a decent sized pink head that dissipated fairly quickly. Strong, deep cheery flavoring with a slight beer like flavor. Reminded me of a cherry Jolly Rancher candy. Very good and rich. Probably couldn’t drink more than one though... too sweet.
4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 spikester (602) - Salem, Oregon, USA - FEB 21, 2009
Pours a rich dark red with a three finger pink head and copious lacings. Aroma is very potent black cherry. Taste is like the most delicious black cherry soda you can imagine. The flavor is very full and sweet and it is hard to believe this has any alcohol at all. Easy drinker with no faults but doesn’t taste much like beer at all. Excellent desert choice IMO and not one to swill. Sip it with a meal and enjoy those immense flavors.
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 altonbrownd (3419) - Brussels, BELGIUM - FEB 18, 2009
Kriek from Carrefour, bought in Tervuren. Dark cherry body with plenty of fizz. Foamy pinkish head. Sharp nose of sugared cherry. Taste is very sweet, with cherries and all. Crisp. Well done, but really not my thing at all. Drainpour.

pours a depp rose color with a thick pink head. great retention and lacing. it has a very cherry aroma and reminds me of a lollipop. the falvor is tart cherry and has asweet backing to it. also displays some champagney co2 qualities. light and crisp on the palate with a dry cherry champagne finish. good dessert beer.

0,25 l bottle, 3,5% abv. Nice hazy, deep ruby body with a brief pink head. Delicious appearance, like the aroma with sourish cherries. Smooth mouthfeel with a nice tart of lambics and cherries, fine sweet fruity tastes. Fine and balanced sweet-tart finish and aftertaste.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20 berkshirejohn (2834) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - FEB 9, 2009
37.5cl bottle from Asda, Andover at 3.5% ABV. Unsurprisingly cerise in colour with a fast fading pink head, and a gorgeous sour cherry aroma. Full of sweet cherry flavours, but also tart and with a sudden sharp underlying bitterness. The finish ends up way to sweet though, like cherry soda.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 elihapa (1369) - Honolulu, Hawaii, USA - FEB 8, 2009
Bomber, split during beer tasting. Aroma is of slightly fermented (sour) black cherry. Pouring dark red with a HUGE head, this Kriek stays cherry-sweet throughout, barely remembering its base tartness in the finish. Tasty, “like wine cooler” someone said, but nothing but a sweet dessert drink.
