Feb 7, 2007 Bottle. Head was spare and slightly creamy with a red glow. Color was red, almost red wine like. Aroma was very fruity, with heavy notes cherry of cause. Other notes were apple, grape, yeast and light vinegar. Light to medium bodied with a sticky texture and a soft carbonation. Heavy sweet flavor, with light notes of acidic. Note much bitterness here. Light fresh and average finish.

Feb 4, 2007 Poured from bottle...Beautiful red color with a delightful pink head that lasted a while...The smell is completely reminiscent of Ludens Cherry Cough drops! WOW! I really liked this Lambic! Tasted sweet cherries, with a tart or sour finish...Very delightful indeed. Would be an EXCELLENT liquid dessert!

Feb 3, 2007 A 750 ml bottle costing $9.45 at the North Coast Coop in Eureka, CA. Poured a beautiful red color with a pink head that lasted a long time and left wonderful lacing. Big nose of cherry and a touch of yeast.. Mouthfeel is thick and rich, with remarkable smoothness. Flavor is of cherry of course, with a small bit of tartness underlying the sweetness that stays all the way to the finish. An outstanding example of its type.

Jan 31, 2007 21 Aug 2006 - Lovely rich cherry sweet and some other complexity aroma. Deep dark-red colour, good red-pink retaining head and unbelievable sheet lacing. Big luscious sweet cherry flavour and nice acid balance. Big cherry lingering aftertastes thick, finishes with a tanginess.

Jan 29, 2007 355 ml bottle poured in wide glass. Nice color, strong cherry aroma, fading to floral. Sparkling as promised, and surprisingly refreshing. A hint of wheat if you care to notice. Somewhat like malt duck, as I recall from about 30 years ago, except maybe more fizz, and not as sweet. Nice change of pace, not too sour.

Jan 24, 2007 12 oz. Bottle. Pours dark red and has a medium red head. Has a strong smell of sweet cherries and what seems like almonds. The taste is more of a tart cherry flavor. Obviously this type of beer is not for everybody, but if you’re looking to try something different, this is a nice change of pace.
