Tap @ Monk’s Café Sveavägen, Stockholm. Pours a light clouded red to deep red body with a small lacing and creamy light pinkish head. The aroma is loaded with that artificial cherry-sweets flavor, almond extract and white sugar. Soft carbonation and quite a sticky mouthfeel. Sweet flavors with lots of cherries, only unlike the artificial aroma the flavors are more legit and real. Sour lemon tones also in this one before it ends with sweet cherries. Mah, drinkable but definitely not something I have to try again.

Tart cherry goodness. Crisp and refreshing. Pleasant palate. Just the right amount of cherry flavor, unlike Liefmans which was too intense. It drinks like a tart cherry soda, but less sweet and with a little bit of booze.

Bottle. Red with quickly dissipating head. Aroma is sour cherries, some raspberries and light almond or cherry seeds. Taste is sweet-sour, slightly astringent in the finish, fruity and very harmonic.

Bottle (375ml, poured into a wine glass & reviewed live)

Purplish red colour that is topped by a pink coloured, pinky sized head that is a bubbly one that has good retention, taking about a minute to reduce to a thin lacing.
A large sour cherry presence, not unlike a fruity wine in smell and there is an hint of apples and a sugary sweetness to it.
Matching the nose there is a lot of sour cherries in the taste & a general sweetness too it that helps to balance against the sour cherries. There is also some wheat in the taste and the aftertaste is a kind of sour red grapes one.
Medium bodied & very smooth with a pleasant tang to it. There is a lot of carbonation present & the drink is quite refreshing.

Similar to a few of the fruit beers I have drank in the past but this one seems a little better. The fact that the beer is so fruity leads me to believe that it would get rather sickening after more than a couple bottles.

355ml corked/capped bottle
3.5% ABV (as marked on bottle)
I tried this beer on September 15, 2011 after purchasing from one of my local LCBO outlets. The beer poured a transparent ruby red colour with a milky white cap that laced extremely well. The aroma was sweet cherry lollipop. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium-high carbonation. The flavour was tart and sweet cherries both - what you would expect of a good lambic.

Mooie donkerrode kleur met een mooie rose kraag. Ruikt zoet, kersen. Smaakt fris en is een beetje zoet/zuur.

Apple and cherry juice in the aroma. The flavor is strong on the cherry with quite a bit of tartness. The flavor is essentially cherry juice and mildly sweet, rather odd for a beer but not bad on its own.
