| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Dec 28, 2005 Im very suprised this is rated so highly. Aroma is super cherry like more cherry than cherryade and cherry syrup put together. Taste is also very cherry, though not as sweet as the aroma may have suggested with a little oaky character, but no sourness at all, though my sample isnt very cold, infact maybe even warm. One for someone who likes smirnoff ice with a differance. Lubiere (4491), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Dec 18, 2005 Bottle called Lindemans Souvenirs du Terroir Kriek de Bruxelles (from Delhaize). Deep cherry red kriek with a rosé head. Cherry lollipop aroma with little vanilla notes. Very sweet kriek with some little sour notes but not satisfying. Rather artifical and unpleasant. Medium bodied. Way to sweet. May 3, 2005. Parrothead (185), Ephrata, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Dec 18, 2005 I’ve been reading and hearing about lambics for years, just never tried one. Oh my, what I’ve been missing! Pours with a fizzy, yet solid head, and a wonderful ruby red color. If I did not know I was drinking a beer, I wouldn’t have guessed. In fact, I had my wife try it - she HATES beer - and she liked it! It took a while for me to notice the maltiness at the end. A really neat experience - don’t know that i could drink a lot at one sitting, but I think I’ve fallen in lust, uh I mean love, with this stuff. Makes me proud to be half Belgian! mrnutsnbolts (204), Berkeley, California, USA

im really into lindemans, and this one is good as well; aroma is huge in sweet cherry...appearance of red wine/cherry red with aerated foamy pink head....flavor is heavy in tart and sweet black cherry; very natural in flavor and although its great, it is a bit simple; decent palate; more enjoyable that my rating suggests, but is lacking complexity drinkebroer (3), Belgium does not count | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 10, 2005 Although I don’t like the cherry beers that much, this is one I enjoy drinking. It is not to sweet and not the sour. It has a great taste of black cherry.
