Lindemans Kriek

Hazy cherry-purple with nice pink bubbles and good lacing. Strong black cherry aroma with a little bit of ginger. Sort of semi-dry and a tiny bit sour. Fairly sweet black cherry with a tingly-sweet feel. A little sournes from the fruit and not from the microbles. Needs more malt character. Also needs to be more sour. Medium to light body with low carbonation. This beer would be better with more carbonation and less body.

As Fodroyante Kriek. 50 cl. bottle with both a bottle cap AND a cork?!? Pours a clear red with a pink head. Nice lacings. Sweet and sour flavor. Aromas of artificial cherry. Low Co2 lvl. Long very bitter finish that kicks in late.

Light pink head, dark pinkish body. Aroma is sweet cherries, almost cough syrup. Taste of sugar, cherries, fruit. Only a slight sourness. Finish is somewhat grainy, sweet. Ok stuff I guess, but the Flemish sours are a real step above this beer.

Ruby beer, pink head. Aroma and flavour dominated by Amaretto cherries. Oaknotes? Vanilla? Marzipan. Just slightly acidious.

The aroma is very similar to cherry cough syrup. Color is clear ruby red, if it weren’t for the light pink head it would look like wine. The taste as a very cherry nose, with an almost apple cider finish. Not as good as the Peche.

Bottle. Dark red colour with a big pink head. Sweet cherry marzipan aroma and a sweet sour cherry cirup taste. Medium body and a sweet dry finish.

Aroma:cherry sirup... Appearance:redish,light pink head... Flavor:Sour cherry,fruit soda....

Nose of sweet alcoholic cherry candy! Huge pink head. Great taste with HUGE up front tart. Mellows out around half way through, then picks up its sour habits right before the end. Some what complex but the sweet and sour are almost over the top. Very good though.
