Pours a nice reddish hue with a fluffy pinkish head. Amazing black cherry wheat aroma. Wow, the taste is really strong, fruity, mostly cherries. This is my first lambic, not like beer as I’m used to it at all. Not sure how I feel about this style. A little too fruity for me.

NIce fruity aroma, almost the same as the Framboise, but with a nice cherry finish, as always, great lambic.

Rosée, jus fruits, fraise. Arôme de cerises très présent. Col moyen à l’effervescence soutenue. Saveur de cerise, cerise et aussi de cerise. Amertume symbolique.

I really have a hard time being objective about a beer like this. I just don’t like fruit, spices, etc. in my beer. That being said, I have tried to evaluate this in the context of what it is supposed to be, not necessarily what I migh t like. It certainly has a beautiful appearance with a clear light red pour and bubbly pink!!!??? head. The cherry aroma and flavor overwhelms everything. Effervescent, and slightly sour, it’s more like a sparkling wine than a beer. I guess as a desert beeer with something chocolate it would be quite appropriate.

Bottled. Cloudy red with pink head. Sweet cherry, most definitely, with a powdery chalky slightly sour character. Perfumed on the nose and a lingering skinny sharp flavour. More challenging than enjoyable.

Hazy cherry-purple with nice pink bubbles and good lacing. Strong black cherry aroma with a little bit of ginger. Sort of semi-dry and a tiny bit sour. Fairly sweet black cherry with a tingly-sweet feel. A little sournes from the fruit and not from the microbles. Needs more malt character. Also needs to be more sour. Medium to light body with low carbonation. This beer would be better with more carbonation and less body.

As Fodroyante Kriek. 50 cl. bottle with both a bottle cap AND a cork?!? Pours a clear red with a pink head. Nice lacings. Sweet and sour flavor. Aromas of artificial cherry. Low Co2 lvl. Long very bitter finish that kicks in late.

Light pink head, dark pinkish body. Aroma is sweet cherries, almost cough syrup. Taste of sugar, cherries, fruit. Only a slight sourness. Finish is somewhat grainy, sweet. Ok stuff I guess, but the Flemish sours are a real step above this beer.
